Dollar General Villa Rica is an affordable neighborhood store offering everyday low prices on food, snacks, health and beauty aids, cleaning supplies, apparel, housewares, seasonal items, and paper products, including tobacco. The store has recently seen major changes and a positive turnaround under new management. The manager is described as an amazing, hard-working professional who is serious about the job, and the employees respect and appreciate her. The sales associates are wonderful and work diligently. Specific staff members are noted as being amazing, very helpful, and providing exceptional customer service with a smile, even when busy. However, the store has faced challenges, including a period where it was a crowded mess with items not put up properly, and some customers found the staff unhelpful in locating products. Despite issues like a temporary AC outage, the team is working hard and the store is seen as improving.
The young African American gentleman who works the evening shift deserves a raise. He was working alone at this location this afternoon. His work ethic and positivity were remarkable. He was working two registers simultaneously with full composure to make sure the long line kept moving!

The reason I have a 3 star review is something I've never Experienced, I was in and looking around Finding things the People were not helpful they would say they had it when of course they didn't and We couldn't even walk to be honest it was to crowed with things not put up properly and it was a big mess
