1057 SR 96 #300, Warner RobinsKIND96 has been on my list of places to try for a while so yesterday as part of the City of WR Take Flight Tour I stopped in for a bite. It was day two of the tour and luckily I was the first to order the sushi flight special.
Let me just say the two Sushi chefs that worked on my flight were amazing! They had not been given detailed instructions on how to make the dish or a recipe for that matter, all they received was a picture. I also work in food service so I know how challenging it can be when instructions are not clear or detailed, leaving you to use your own judgement. But these two guys were up to the challenge and knocked it out of the park! They created something even more amazing than the picture! The seaweed salad filled with tangy seaweed, shredded carrots and sliced cucumbers was light and refreshing. The saucy skewer was tasty, but those crispy triangle pockets took the show and were out of this world! I've never tasted anything like it. I believe they were rice patties filled with seaweed, crab meat, avocado and maybe cucumber, because they had a little crunch to them. They were fried on the outside which made them crispy and crunchy, yet gooey and crisp on the inside, then drizzled with different sauces. KIND96 I don't know what those little magic bites were called but those are a keeper! I'll be back for them 😁.
I will say it was an honor and a pleasure to be their first experiment, and it truly was a delightful, beautiful, and delicious flight experience. My gut was also exited!
A bit of disclosure, your platter may not look exactly as mine did if you visit during the tour because I'm sure these guys realized after creating my flight that it was supposed to be an appetizer and not a meal. So glad I was the first to experience their creation!
On another note I also had a melon bobba tea. The tea was a bit warm and needed more flavor and sweetener. On my way out I asked for ice to chill it but that didn't help. I got it home and added more sweetener but that just made it worse and undrinkable so I poured it out. But overall I had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning.

We've eaten here several times since they opened it this was the first time we had any issues.

Layout of the restaurant on how you look at the menu, order, and pay isn’t the best. It kinda messes up the flow especially when multiple people are in line and have to walk around each other. The food is good though, so worth the shuffle.
