The Commercial Bank is described by many long-term customers as providing friendly, hometown service with leadership considered the best in the Northeast Georgia area. Several reviewers highlight decades of good service, noting the staff are very nice and that the bank has been trusted to take care of family and employee finances when other banks would not. However, significant concerns about customer service and operational errors have emerged recently. These include serious problems like unauthorized large withdrawals bypassing set limits, issues with hacked debit cards and replacement cards being sent incorrectly, and reduced convenience from changed lobby hours. While some express deep loyalty, others feel that recent mistakes have caused tremendous stress and indicate that continued good service is now inconsistent, with some considering moving their accounts after many years.
Best bank I’ve ever banked with. As long as they’re never bought out by a big conglomerate bank, they’ll always be my bank. Great personal service by all the employees but Paula is the best!

This is a fantastic Bank; it just feels good. It feels like old-time banking when you walked into a bank everybody knows you. Very glad the day I found them.

The Commercial Bank- Mike, Robert, Angela and Will are the best in the business. Other banks do not compare. If you want home town service with the ability to help you grow, you want The Commercial Bank!
