“Dent Myers was a treasure trove of history that we have sadly lost. The institution he began, his knowledge, and his determination helped build the city of Kennesaw. The items on display in the museum section and the items for trade teach everyone about periods in our history that some believe are better forgotten, but shouldn't. The store hasn't changed much in the 50+ years it has been in operation. It is still a living encyclopedia full of unique items. No matter what you have heard, go visit.”
“I have recently been on the hunt for some very specific items while remodeling my home office. In the past month I have visited markets from Dalton to Roswell and this one is by far in a league of its own! I stopped in one evening an hour before closing, was cheerfully greeted and the ladies that worked there were so cute and matched the vibe of the place! The thing that stands out most about this gem is that every booth is so well designed! Many of the shops that I visited had junky booths with no real direction. Here they are all like professionally designed boutiques! If you are looking for some clear design inspiration with quality items make the trip! It is huge, so wear comfy shoes because you’re going to be there a while.”
