“One thing I really appreciated about this See’s Candies location was that I never felt rushed while shopping, even when taking time to look through the different treats. The staff was extremely patient and welcoming.
I’m also really glad they now offer sugar-free options. On top of that, they gave us so many samples that I was genuinely wondering how they even make a profit sometimes. They’re honestly almost too generous and kind to a fault lol.
The experience honestly feels nostalgic and reminds me of going back to childhood in a good way. Very warm customer service and a comfortable experience overall.”

“Unexpected snack shop gem!
They have great deals and exclusive snacks. They also have Japanese snack imports.
Its quite a small space but a large variety of snacks and drinks, but I believe you can buy large bulk snack items.
They also have protein snacks.
Staff is friendly and the place is very clean.”

“Drive by slowly as this is in an industrial area, very to miss the entrance in to the parking lot. Excellent selection of preserved seeds, mostly from Taiwan and China. Nice selection of arare and kakimochi. Most are bagged as 7 and 14ozs.”

“A very tiny corner store that’s been here for quite sometime.
On the inside, you’ll find a fairly large selection of pickled seed. Quite a few that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. It is not made here, but it is packaged and sold here. They also have ice cream and shave ice. There’s other things as well like candies and such.
There is ample free parking outside.”
“I purchased a box at the airport for a special reminder of the trip to Hawaii and found the product to be out of date. I contacted the company and they were so very kind and promptly replaced the item. WOW is this amazing and beyond my expectations. This is a wonderful company and so so good!”
“Been coming here for decades. Crack seed shops used to be everywhere, and are now a dying breed. This is a major aspect of local culture since the 1850s. Everytime I get some mango or plum and eat it outside somewhere, it takes me back when local culture was more prevalent and long before the generic and gentrifying consumer-culture wave that the internet brought.”
“Mahalo to Jonathan Lyau for all that he does for Habilitat Inc.! Your ongoing support and dedication help make events like our “Driving Change” Golf Tournament a success. We truly appreciate your aloha and generosity.

“My friends and I had a great time doing the tour and making our own macadamia chocolate back in 2018. The owners were super nice! Lots of samples to try at the end, and I ended up buying a couple of boxes to bring home as souvenirs- all of which were a hit!”
“THE place for all your seeds, cookies, arare, and local snacks. Best stop for all of your omiyage! this location has Zippys next door and Windward Mall across the street.”

“Was in the area and happened to stumble across this store. Never heard of it but the GF was "Oh it's C-Mui".So we went inside and were greeted by just a sweet old lady. She gladly helped us and gave us a few samples. We got the Li Hing Mui which is nice and soft with great flavor and the Lemon Rings which I think are the best I've had! She even gave us free bottled water.BE AWARE- She has a sign to wear masks, please honor this as she is old and her husband is also in the store and looks like she cares for him. Also there is a sign on the door stating they may be closed even when they should be open due to emergency hardship.Drop by, give them some business if you're in the area.”
“First time visiting the island and was very happy my wife introduced me to her favorite spot. The small shave ice was enormous and good value for your money. Very pleased by the texture and flavors. Next time I’ll have to go more than once during my trip. Ono! Ono!”

“This tiny little gem of a store is tucked away in a shopping center. It is so cute! So many suprise boxes, sanrio collectables, kids toys and stuffies. My child is obsessed with Sanrio, and we make it a point to shop here. The owner is SO NICE, she has offered us samples of her treats and has a little stamp card. This little store is so cute and the owner is always so kind. I will be returning!”
“Today I was really craving popcorn and candy. They have the best hurricane popcorn! Their kakimochi is heart shaped and it is so cute. They put the perfect amount of ingredients inside and the flavor is spot on. Good portions sizes and very reasonably priced. We also picked up a bunch of pre packed sour gummies, jelly beans, and chocolates. I love that it's already packed in individual resealable bags. They have a ton of selection and almost everything you could want. Staff is very friendly and the store is very clean. They had a dragon made of balloons for Chinese new year and it was very impressive. We will be back!”
“Just came back from getting some snacks! Has a parking lot to go into, and once you head in the store it's nice and spacious. We were on the hunt for cookies. And boy we went a little crazy. We got a whole lot, the Cornflake cookies, shortbread arare cookies, chocolate chip macnut cookies, and the chocolate chip cookies with walnuts. I love the homemade taste to it. These are good brand of cookies and good omiyage for friends that moved to the mainland or just to have in the house. What I really wanted was an icee and I wasn't disappointed. A medium is 32oz and @ $2.59 you cannot go wrong. Good way to cool off. They had cola, strawberry and blue vanilla. I think they'll be seeing us again. We also walked around and there were a lot of local goodies to buy too but we were mainly there for cookies and icees. Don't worry, we will be back! Cookies are reasonably priced too. The 8oz almond cookies were $6.75. So excited to go back and get more goodies next time!”
“A must-visit stop when visiting the island! I’ve tried the li hing powder and seasoning from a few other places and nothing is quite as delicious as the one from Seeds n Things. We stocked up on about 30 lbs and will be making another stop tomorrow before we leave! Favorites are the Classic Lemon Gushers and Juicy Li Hing Gushers, but you can’t go wrong.”
“On September 4th, at the Kahala Mall store in Honolulu, I was assisted by a very good employee. Her name is Carly O. She was very helpful and very professional. Carly was also very personable. She has excellent customer service skills. Keep up the good work!

“One of the goodies in my gift basket (received as a prize from an OYE) was from this biz located on Oahu, specifically their Furikake Party Mix.
The hearty pouch is 18 ounces and comes with an easy-to-open pull-away tab, revealing a heavy duty re-sealer. For you malihini who have no idea what furikake is, it's finely grated nori (seaweed) mixed with salt, sesame seeds, MSG, and a bit of sugar. Combining that with the traditional buttery-sweet party mix flavor makes for a blend of sweet and ocean-y, probably a turn-off to most but not if you're a local! The usual suspects can be found in the bag, including rice & corn Chex, Honey Comb, Bugles, an over-abundance of pretzels and thankfully no wheat Chex. Every piece was flavorful and coated well.
TIP:
I have a feeling that this is for sale at Costco as there was an "item number" listed on the bag.
OVERALL:
Good party mix. Being a cookie lover, I can't wait to try some of their selections.”
“Was excited to see jars of Jade mixed Seafood at Keaau Longs on the Big Island of Hawai'i. My favorite is the long thin jerky in the mix. I bought all twelve bottles. I assume its something thats sold during Christmas? I grew up on Jade brand snacks. ❤️”
“Been coming here ever since small kid time! Love that are now customizing the icees. Our favorite is the strawberry with ice cream, mochi balls and condensed milk (it reminds me of the shave ices that they serve at bon dances except in a cup and much easier to eat). The workers do such a great job making it. They are always nice and friendly so no complaints with the service here. I hope they consider expanding their icee line like how Doe Fang was before.”
“Lauren is so nice! I placed an online order to be shipped to me and I had been waiting for an order update, I had put in my address wrong and thought maybe there was an issue with making sure it got to the right place. Lauren reached out to me to apologize about my order being overlooked. She offered to refund me which I appreciated, but still wanted my order. It was shipped out so fast! And she even threw in a few extra goodies for me.
Thanks Lauren, the few treats I've had so far are delicious ?”
“We are visiting Oahu from B.C. Canada. My husband and I stopped at Pearlridge Center See's Candie's this afternoon to buy my most favorite candies and were helped by Sandra S. I just have to say....Sandra S, you are a very lovely lady and you totally made my morning with your gracious and sweet spirit ....Mahalo ?”
