“Great shopping. Little expensive but nice items. Poor check out procedures. Ladies asked everyone if they want to join star awards. Then go on to explain the whole thing. Long line but they didn't care.3 to 8 minutes each person. Sounds like a short time but when you just want to pay and leave...it's forever.”

“I like coming here because you never know what you’re going to find. I come here liking for one thing and come out getting more. They have all kinds of pop culture shirts, apparel, Wicked, Disney, collector’s items, keychains, etc. Anytime I need some kind of item for a movie release you sure can find fan apparel items here. “Especially with the many Native Hawaiians, living in diaspora, due to rising costs of housing and living, we have many opportunities to not just support local businesses but to support Native Hawaiian businesses. Homegrown offers a venue for supporting many Native Hawaiian businesses who many not have the start up ability to establish their own shop. Easy one stop shop for lots of different authentic Hawaiian gifts, household needs, clothes, accessories. While all of these separate businesses may have their own website, Homegrown allows you the opportunity to see these items up close and try on clothes before purchase. Since most of these businesses are not just Native Hawaiian but also offer items made in Hawaii, rather than outsourcing, some items may cost more than the average but I find that they're still reasonable.”

It's hard to go in here and not get lost in the selection. They also have a suggestions list, If you don't see anything you like , add it to the list, and you can come back in a few weeks, and it will be there!”
“Awesome designs and quality shirt material. I get plenty of compliments on my Bobafet throwing the Shaka and holding the shave ice Tshirt. Aside from Star wars themed shirts there are a variety of styles and designs that you wont see anywhere else. I frequently come here to get new releases.”
“This store has 2 locations, one in Pearlridge and one in Windward Mall. Both locations carry little different items as such, the Pearlridge store has less brighter colored clothing than the Windward mall location. Did that make sense? LOL? If you want to stand out in the crowd, shop at Windward Mall! The Pearlridge store is a little larger, all designs are locally made and Hawaiian design printed more like tribal type? Each print has a meaning to its design. They offer pull over, button down & polo style for the men. And lots of different styles of selection to choose from for the ladies. It's worth while doing browse in the store because the designs are interesting. Please do support local business.”

“I use dark denim jeans for work and I thought that I'll check out this store to see how it compares to what I usually get. I really like the quality, stretch and price point of their jeans. It's really comfortable and I like how I'm able to move around with it at work and it doesn't ride down like other jeans I have. I really like the customer service here too! I came on 7/2/21 and they were having a sale I believe for 4th of July weekend. One of the promotions they were offering was buy one, get one 50% off jeans. I asked the sales associate (I didn't get her name. She was a petite girl and very sweet), if I could mix and match with the mens jeans and she said sure. I was with my bf, so I suggested he try a pair too because of how much I loved my jeans. I think in the future, I'll check out their online site because I've seen from other Yelp reviews that they offer free pick up in store. So far I've only shopped in store. They opened up their fitting rooms again, so it's nice to try it on before you buy which I greatly appreciate. Also, when you check out and you shop here, sign up for their rewards program. I also like how you can round up your change to the nearest dollar when you check out for charity.”
“What a great little shop. Lots of styles and sizes to choose from. My husband wears a larger size and we were quite pleased to find plenty to choose from at this adorable shop. We make a point to stop in whenever we are in Kapolei and you should too!!!”
