“I'm writing my honest review of this business. We went in today for the first time to sell some silver for our son. I didn’t want to part with it, but due to the economic hardship here in Hawaii, we decided to go ahead and sell a few pieces. Our silver was in like-new condition and originally came from a highly reputable company.
The owner, John, was very professional. He performed a magnet test to show us the difference between fake and real silver. He confirmed that ours was genuine and made us a fair offer. We felt that the price he paid was reasonable.
Overall, I believe he is honest, and I would recommend his business to family and friends. Thank you, John!”

“Within 10 minutes of walking in, Vanessa picked me out a beautiful wedding band to stack with my unique passed down engagement ring. She was THEE BEST. Truly appreciated her, auntie took care of me fully in 30 minutes was out the door”
“Cori , Thank you so much for being so helpful with this decision to purchase my forever ring. You were very informative and pleasant. I’m so in love with my ring! Michael and I couldn’t wait until June to wear it so I’m showing it off now. Lol!”
“My wife and I went here a few weeks ago, at another store’s recommendation. We need to get our wedding bands downsized. Fantastic customer service! We were able to walk in without any need for an appointment, and were helped within a few minutes. The pricing was super fair and the wait time was fast. We went shopping at Pearl Ridge in the meantime and then they called us about 60 minutes later once the work was done. They were also very patient with us as we kept reducing the ring sizes to find the right fit. Highly recommend!”
“Shopped around for some jewelry and Adriana was so helpful with everything from pricing to insurance and up keeping of the pieces. Very likely to come back and shop with her again.”
“I came to BB to ask questions about their signature diamonds. I was greeted by Gerrie who was very pleasant. After learning more about these exquisite diamonds from Gerrie, I bought one. I'm very happy with the purchase from this reputable company!”
“ashley did great. we came in just to browse & she helped even though i came in w little hope. she shown me a variety of rings, carried great conversation & helped my husband & i pick a great ring & band for myself. im so glad she helped & also helped me realize my style in rings. i was completely clueless when i came in. i’m so grateful for her !”
“I am so grateful to Kerra. She had made this experience (my first time at Kay’s) the best.
I have bought from other Jewelry places before but they did not have Kerra. She made me feel like I belonged there by being professional and personal. I came in with a fractured ankle and she ran around the floor to get many options for me as I comfortably sat nearby with already chosen options to look through. I was amazed by her ability to deliver outstanding service and satisfaction after finding out that the piece I had originally came in for was unavailable. I fully believe I left with something a lot better than I had in mind.
I will definitely be asking for her again some time in the near future. Thank you again Kerra.”
“I ordered a beautiful 5 plumeria ring from Costco. The design is exquisite, but the weight of the gold is significantly thinner than the sample ring in the store. Still beautiful and I love it, but very disappointed in the light weight. The gold at the bottom of the ring is not quite paper thin. No doubt, will need to be careful not to bang the bottom shank that appears fragile. I am reluctant to wear this ring every day. Very disappointed in this purchase and will not buy other pieces I had planned. What you see in the store can be different than what you actually get.
Also, the design is very rough between my fingers and not comfortable. I really do love this ring. I wish I could wear it more.”
“The store carries a wide variety of items that reflect the history and traditions of Hawaii. One of the highlights is the selection of books focused on Hawaiian history, language, and culture. For anyone interested in learning more about the islands beyond the typical tourist experience, the bookstore section alone makes the visit worthwhile.
Beyond books, the store also features locally themed gifts, cultural artwork, and traditional items that reflect Hawaii’s heritage. Walking through the space feels more like exploring a cultural shop rather than a typical retail store inside a mall.
What I appreciated most about Na Mea Hawaiʻi is how it emphasizes education and cultural preservation. The selection clearly focuses on items that represent authentic Hawaiian identity rather than generic souvenirs.
The environment inside the store is calm and inviting, which makes it easy to take your time browsing the shelves and discovering different books or locally inspired items.
Overall, Na Mea Hawaiʻi is a great place to visit if you are interested in Hawaiian culture, history, and locally meaningful products”

“Sugar Sugar Hawaii has such interesting, tasteful, beautiful, and unique inventory. I always seem to find something that I didn’t know I needed. Staff is always friendly and willing to help you. Store is organized and clean.”
“The storekeepers were extremely polite and helpful. Stock is beautiful! Every item I bought was wrapped nicely and carefully. Pleasant place to be! Thank you! Price seems really fair as well!”
“Whenever I need a gift for my sister, my daughters, my granddaughters or a good friend I always find exactly what I need at Sweet Okole Jewelry. They have the most beautifully handmade jewelry I have seen on the island. Very well made with love and aloha. I love the girls that work there especially Tania she is so thoughtful and goes out of her way to help you choose the right gift for your special loved one. I especially like their exquisite bangle bracelet and exotic crystals. A crystal for every occasion, mood or just for love. If you feel it there is a crystal for it. Thank you Tania for all of your expertise and Aloha”
“Was looking for a reasonable price on a Hawaiian bangle bracelet and found one at Tropical Creations! Received it as an anniversary gift from my husband. Will be purchasing more jewelry from there in the future!”
“I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience deserves one.
I recently purchased an engagement ring from Kay Jewelers in Kapolei, and I can’t say enough good things about Adam Dizol, Mildred Sadorra, and Keli Keawehu.
Anyone who has shopped for an engagement ring knows it’s not just another purchase. It’s emotional. It’s exciting. It’s stressful. You want to get it right. From day one, Adam, Mildred, and Keli treated it with the importance it deserved.
They spent countless hours answering questions, walking me through options, and helping me create exactly what I envisioned. I never felt pressured to spend more money or make a decision before I was ready. Instead, I felt like I had a team of people who genuinely cared about helping me find the perfect ring.
What impressed me most was what happened when an unexpected pricing issue came up near the end of the process. Adam could have easily told me there was nothing he could do. Instead, he took ownership of the situation, advocated for me, and worked with management to find a solution. The details aren’t what matter. What mattered was the effort. He cared enough to fight for his customer, and that says a lot about the kind of person he is.
Throughout the entire process, Mildred and Keli were just as incredible. They were kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely excited for me. Every time I walked into the store, I felt like I was being greeted by friends rather than sales associates.
In a world where customer service often feels rushed and transactional, this team reminded me what great service looks like. They helped make one of the most important purchases of my life a memorable experience, and for that I’ll always be grateful.
Thank you, Adam, Mildred, and Keli. You didn’t just help me buy a ring. You helped me create a moment that my future fiancée and I will remember for the rest of our lives.”
“Although several months ago, never too late to post a review. Collette was a pleasure to work on creating a Kamon pendant of the symbol of my birth city crest (Fukuoka). Perfectly executed, every line in perfect symmetry. Couldn't of imagined that it would come out so perfect. If your looking to get an heirloom piece to be passed down for generations to come, this is the place Aloha!!”
“The owners are so nice. They always know how to take care. They can custom make something for you or at least try to get you what your looking for and that's what matters. Most places won't even try to help you. They are right next to Kim Chee 7 and 7-11. If you go there before or after lunch it is easy to find parking.”
“I recently bought some souvenirs from Lialoha and couldn’t be happier. I was looking for a few things to remember my trip, but the quality of the products blew me away. The hats and mugs were my favorites—they perfectly captured the relaxed Hawaiian vibe. They also made great gifts for my family and friends, and everyone loved them! The quality is top-notch and they feel like they’ll last forever. Lialoha really helped me bring a piece of Hawaii back home. If I get the chance to visit Hawaii again, I’ll definitely grab more from them. If you’re looking for cool, authentic Hawaiian souvenirs, Lialoha is the place to go!”
“Came into store with 2 and 3 y/o to drop off a wedding set to tighten the diamond settings and restore white gold plus a pair of earrings with the intention of asking for the best way to clean at home. Aunties behind the counter were playing with children while Paul and I could talk. Paul was knowledgeable and friendly and I cannot emphasize how reasonable the price was. Picked up the ring and I’m just blown away. It looks brand new. Diamond earrings with new backings and cleaned. Talk story to another customer already there and she mentioned she makes trips from big island for Paul to work on her most valued jewelry because she doesn’t trust anyone else since she moved from Oahu. Highly recommend.”
“I’ve shopped here many times over the last 8 years! I love the selection of beautiful dresses and colors they offer! The quality is great and the ladies in the shop are always welcoming and helpful!”
“What a beautiful store. We have been searching for a store that sold local products and we were so excited to stumble across this store. We will definitely be back and will recommend your shop to everyone!!! Mahalo!! Can not wait for our friends to receive this adorable onsie on the mainland ?”

“Service was very polite and patient. They had beautiful suggestions for jewelry settings. Although, drilling of the pearl is not required for keepsake, they were knowledgable of what could happen to the pearl if we decided to drill the pearl after fully drying. I would recommend this experience for anyone visiting Pearl Harbor.”
“My wife and I met Abby at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet on Valentine's weekend and she could not have been more gracious, inviting and attentive without ever being pushy or over-involved. All her hand crafted pieces seemed very personal and intimate. She worked along side my wife to help pick out her perfect necklace and a gift for our cousin. Abby even made alterations to the chain length while we waited and the two ladies shared fun personal stories. It may seem crazy but my fat ass was impressed by Abby's whole operation. Her incredible display of jewelry on professional grade display racks along with her detailed check-box item description cards for each piece. Abby is a very gifted artist, savvy business woman and a pleasure to do business with.”
“Came in to have two of my 14k rope chains fixed. They were my grandmother's jewelry and I needed to repair a link and replace the clasp. The sales women were so professional and easy to order the repair with. They estimated it would take 6 weeks but it was done in less than 2 weeks. I am definitely pleased with the quality work done on this repair. Paid a total of around $200 for soldering (the broken link) and replacing the clasps (to lobster claw) on two separate 14k rope chains. Prices were comparable at other placesDefinitely recommend them for their customer service and convenient location”
“Chan and Amber were super helpful! I got here close to closing time and I needed something for the next day and they helped me as well as they could and saved me. THANK YOU! Awesome employees!”
“I have purchased plenty of jewelry from them. Chains, gold bracelets, pendants and necklaces, rings. They never disappoint, 100% honest and quality pieces. Definitely worth Every purchase made. Bonus, they give excellent customer service.”

“I’m DAZZLED by the PACIFIC DIAMOND WEDDING RINGS shop!
A big MAHALO to your wizard Jeweler, John. I’ve bought and traded several spectacular pieces with this jeweler over the years. Days ago, John offered me a truly important gift for which, I have been unsuccessfully searching for over the past three-years. I am a severe diabetic with frequent, life-threatening events. My MEDIC ALERT bracelet had a weak link and scares me as it drops off frequently. Yet, every other jeweler in the area I pleaded with was unable to fix the link unless, I left it overnight… “NOT!”
One kind, generous gesture by this jeweler wiped out my years of frustration and stress. YOU have earned a forever customer. Thanks again, John.”
“Lee fixed my watch band today and did some link sizing back in 2024 ....... Affordable pricing with a priceless smile! Hole in the wall mom and pops vibe places are hard to come by!”
