Hanzawa's Variety Store is a great little neighborhood general store and gas station. It is a very busy, warm, and inviting Mom and pop's corner store described as a wonderful slice of Aloha. They carry everything from charcoal and firewood to pet food, fresh local produce, spirits, gas, and snacks. They have great food cooked in house daily, including sandwiches, coffee, and basic groceries. It is a handy convenience store for trips to Haleakala National Park. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and personable, making it a place where people love to shop. It can be a little pricey but is worth it for the convenience.
