Foodland Pupukea is a crucial grocery store in a remote area of the island's North Shore. It offers an extensive array of fresh, local ahi poke, served in a nice size bowl with rice for a good price, described as insane, ono, and the best on the island. The fish is fresh and soft. The deli also has excellent poke and other treats like salt and vinegar wings, which are highly recommended, and furikake pork rinds. The store has a good grab-and-go bakery and carries extra shave ice syrup flavors other locations don't have. Given its size, the overall selection of groceries and supplies is amazing, surprising visitors with what they need. The staff provides warm, good ole customer service, and they are nice, helpful, and patient. The store is clean and runs a great operation. It is a recommended place to shop for visitors staying in the area, with great people who want customers to be satisfied.
