“This is a great little local store for beer and wine. The website says they carry spirits however they do not have any. If you’re looking for some liquor of any sort, you’ll have to drive elsewhere. They have lots of coolers of beer, keeping it cold and a good selection of wine”
“Tamara's is a local small supermarket that does cater to the areas population of customers. You will find more culturally diverse ingredient options here rather than the other big brand supermarkets in the area. Their Poke, seafood and in house plate lunch plates are terrific. The store itself is rather old and run down. The staff is friendly and helpful. No fresh bakery type of foods available but there are other stores/bakeries in the area if that is the products you are shopping for. Adequate parking available and fairly easy access to the town itself and main thoroughfares.”
“Nice option, however seem like they do t understand supply and demand or maybe it's just hard to get certain items. Buffalo Trace is highly desired but it's seem they only get one case every few months.”
“The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is exceptional. They cater to all your personal needs, whether you're looking for fresh groceries or a chilled six-pack of your favorite IPA. It truly feels like a family atmosphere, where everyone is welcomed with warmth and kindness. I've even witnessed the owners brighten my kids' day by generously offering them free candy as a reward for their good behavior. It’s the little gestures like this that make the experience feel so special and personal.”
“Today, my family and I participated in the tour offered by the owner, Ken-San. He was very hospitable and eager to share his craft with us. We learned about what makes Shochu different than other alcohols. He showed us his beautiful koji-rice room, his fermentation vats, and his distillery machine. It was amazing to learn about how he sources all his ingredients, and how he tries to use as many local ingredients as possible. My family and I bought the Nami Hana Shochu and the Haleiwa Rainbow Gin. My dad is not a huge gin drinker but even he noted how smooth it was and how much flavor it had. Overall, this was a great experience and I would recommend people to stop by and learn about Ken’s art! I’m excited for his 23 batch of Nami Hana to drop this upcoming September.”
