“I don't do much shopping anymore. However,I am always drawn into an art gallery,artisans shop,or specialty collectables. There's a lot of junk out there so when I find a legit shop ,I'm thrilled. Havaik is definitely top shelf. Representing not only local artisans but those throughout the Pacific islands. In addition there are a few vintage collectables for sale. I found a little something and if you step over the threshold,you will too . Go!”
“We were following a suggestion on this year’s edition of Lonely Planet to the Amy-Lauren Gallery. Google said it was temporarily closed but we called the number Google listed and reached a private individual. We decided to try anyway and drove down from Princeville and are so glad we did. New owner. New gallery. Fantastic experience. Lots of varied art in a wide range of media, taste, and price points. The artist-owner, Mercedes, is knowledgeable, charming and kind. Highly recommend.”

“This is the second of two high quality art galleries to be found in Hanalei , in my opinion. We have purchased numerous items here and came in again yesterday to browse. The sales woman was great-she responded well to my sassy humour, all the while staying fun and professional. The artwork is just beautiful with the handmade wooden boxes being my favorite. I fell in love with one made by a local Japanese artist that I may have to go back for.All in all a great place for art collectors.”

“Michal’s studio is beautiful, inviting and so perfectly curated. This visit was one of the best experiences of our anniversary vacation back to the Garden Isle - Kaua’i. Michal is genuine, looks you in the eye, she is cultured yet down to Earth and passionate about her work. We were happy to meet her and fall in love with a print of one of her paintings. My husband is an artist and really enjoyed the conversation about her creative process. We plan to visit again, with our daughters who love painting, hopefully next year. Mahalo, Michal! ???”
