“So many crystals to choose from. A beautiful display and each crystal has information as to what each crystal means. The store has a peaceful vibe to it and the owners answers any crystal questions.”
“A very nice store with great products: We visited in November 2025 and wanted to buy two “Koa Wood” rings as “replacement” for our wedding bands. We found a very beautiful model for my wife right away, but unfortunately my favorite wasn’t available until January 2026. But no problem: Jewel of Paradise simply mailed the ring to Switzerland. It took a few weeks, but it was worth the wait. Everything worked out perfectly. Great service!”
“While visiting Kauai, my daughter and I happened in to the Black Pearl. We had been looking for a piece to remember our amazing trip but were unimpressed with the Hawaiian chain jewelry store and accompanying high pressure sales people. Our experience with Mariah was the complete opposite. She was so knowledgeable about the pieces, the meaning behind them and the artists who created them. She was attentive but never obtrusive and it was as if we were chatting with an old friend. She is certainly a friend now. I purchased a gorgeous, simple but elegant sapphire necklace that reminds me of the sapphire of the Pacific and my daughter chose a beautiful ring, also reflecting the colors of the water. The lovely one-of-a-kind jewelry will always remind us of the cherished memories of our visit. We are eager to return to Kauai and will 100% return to see Mariah! Excellent experience. Cannot recommend them enough!! Thank you!”

She even helped my husband find the right website to track the height of the river and possible flooding in Hanalei. She is a total gem, make sure that you keep her!! As a separate comment, would love to see just a bit more clothing in the store.”
