Kayak Hanalei offers river and ocean snorkel kayak tours, as well as kayak and stand up paddle board rentals. Reservations are needed for the tours only. Rentals are provided on a first come, first served basis from their large fleet, with no reservations required. All rentals depart from their private dock and include life jackets and paddles. The staff and tour guides are super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. They help guests get set up with equipment. The tours provide a great way to experience the wilderness of Kaua'i, with a nice allocation of time between kayaking and snorkeling. Guests kayak down the river to the ocean, enjoying beautiful and breathtaking scenery. The snorkeling is amazing in a large area of coral reefs with many fish. The provided lunch is better than expected. It is a perfect trip for families, with children enjoying the experience. It is recommended to come a little early for a tour. Rentals are permitted on the Hanalei River and near the pier, conditions permitting. The office is open Sunday through Friday, with specific times for rentals and a daily lunch closure.

Stop in and talk with Ili(super cool), she was super helpful on kayaking with when to go and up or down the river. Had a great time, enjoyable time with the wife in a double kayak. Guys at the ramp do a great job. Thx.

When they were closed they let me in to get the sunglass I wanted and the paddle boarding was awesome! We got to see a sea turtle and really pretty mountains. It was really fun.
