“This co-op consisted of 20+ artist all sharing different styles, while most motifs focused on island life others styles were there. We initially visited for the glass blowing, but that was closed. The gallery was filled with a lot of art and the prices were quite reasonable. The prices seemed similar in pricing to mass production however most of it was original.”

“Most people go to Hawi on the Kohala Coast to visit the art stores, but the Ackerman Galleries are just a short two miles further down the road in Kapa'au. The art and gifts are far superior than anything in Hawi. So go on and drive to Kapa'au and you'll find the store across the street from the original statue of King Kamehameha I. That's another reason to visit and they have plenty of parking. Also there's a great little restaurant right next door.”
