“I'm writing this review a little late! We stayed here 1.5 years ago and also 12 years ago. We absolutely love this little hotel. Clean, quiet, easy to access room info upon arriving. It's nothing fancy, but it's comfortable, clean, and safe.We love Hawi, so it's an easy decision to stay here when we return to the Big Island. I lived in Hawi as a child and I love returning to visit. I pray Kohala Village Inn never closes its doors because we need places like this to stay (I don't believe there's another hotel or motel up north and I don't generally like staying at AirBnBs anymore). So, please never close! :)”

“Great stop when you get to Hawi. Easy parking to get your bearings. Local info from a local volunteer guides. Kohala history in an authentic old school general store setting. Some plantation day antiques and alot of local history on display.”
