First Hawaiian Bank Hilo Branch, part of Hawaii's largest bank founded in 1858, offers a full range of financial services including banking, loans, credit cards, mortgages, and wealth management. With 48 branches across Hawaii, the bank provides personalized service, greeting customers and recognizing regular clients. Customers appreciate the helpful staff and convenient Saturday hours. However, there are concerns about long wait times, often taking nearly an hour to cash checks, and the need for more staff and open windows. Experiences with staff vary, with some customers encountering unhelpful service, especially regarding wire transfers requiring appointments.
It’s take to long they really need more workers and they need to open up more window took almost an hour for me to cash my check

Mixed feelings, one staff member is super helpful but one was a real jerk and wouldn't help me. Said that i will need to make an appointment for a wire transfer, which I had tried to do over the phone the day earlier, and then he would not help me to make the new appointment. I'm using other banks for wire transfers.
