Every time I go to the deli or meat section I am ignored. When a person who looks more local goes up they are helped ahead of me, while the person behind the counter tries to avoid eye contact and ignores me. The person who looked more local informed him that I was there first then he walked up to me and huffed and puffed and told me he would go get somebody else who could help me. I wouldn't have even been inside the store if they had my curbside order ready because I'm disabled and it hurts to stand or walk. When I called to see how late my curbside order would be they said at least another hour. I didn't feel like sitting in the hot sun for an hour. And that's the only reason I went inside but I think I will avoid this store other than their gas from here out....(which the pumps are broken right now so they pump slow and don't click off when full)

I really appreciate that they have same day delivery. It's been a lifesaver since I've been stuck at home, sick. I signed up for a one month free trial to Fresh pass, which gets me free delivery. It's really come in handy.

Love this store but it's really sad because they seem to always be out of what I'm looking for or it seems to be a hassle to find someone to assist you.

5 years later, the bread is almost always available, but still the same attitude from the general manager on down, entitled doesn't even approach their apathy, I am so thrilled that Kroger will take over this pathetic jerks. Please corporate America make some kind of positive out of your greed. Fire every punk in this store and start over again. If you like no customer service, this is your store, otherwise shop somewhere else.

Always crowded... Always busy... It's kind of like you want to just get what you need and just try to get the hell out of there.. parking lot is also dangerous due to the fact that the gas stations right there and everybody's trying to get that cheap gas

Woke up today and saw weekly add was thinking nice deals let me go to Safeway and get those nice deals. Spent 2 hours picking everything that’s on sale like chicken but one get one free , raspberries 2 for 8 , like souse buy one get one free , sodas buy 2 get 2 free , I can keep going on with the list etc . So when I was done shopping my baby got fussy so I had my husband check out and went to the car . He came to car and said it was 380 . I was like no way there’s in weekly add all this things bill should not be more then 200 . I came back to store and cashier send me to customer service because he couldn’t explain why no discounts were applied at checkout with phone number in system. Very rude customer service Yvinette with attitude horrible was going through receipt and trying to refund things I was showing her and arguing that raspberries not on sale . Then why there’s sign saying raspberries 2 for 8 ? Why weekly add say strawberries but one get one free etc ? Beware it’s not the first time this things happen to me in this Safeway . It’s untrained personal that cannot input correct pricing or just laziness so they don’t punch in discounts and being rude on top of everything else that I am wrong to get discounts ? If I wanted to get ripped off I would of shopped on my side of the island at malama and didn’t make the trip to Hilo with baby that’s extra hard . Literally so upset with the store and the suck part about it it’s only one Safeway on this side of island so I am forced to go there . I will try to avoid it at all cost and make trips to Costco but with baby it’s hard to make 4 hour round trips for groceries. Tourist scam trap Safeway

The produce is always straight up rotten. Picked up my online order the cucumbers were slimy and the onions were moldy. Bought at full price, today.
