“Great shop with friendly faces and fantastic customer service. Did some suspension work and alignment on my jeep. Needed a bit of adjustment about two weeks later and they were happy to do it free for charge. Super fast and reasonably priced.”
“We have gone here for all of our tire and brake needs. Clayton is AMAZING. After we explained our situation and how another place close by was trying to charge us 2k plus for back brakes. He explained everything after taking a look, and guess what? That 2k quoted from another place turned out to be less than $400 here. Honest people. Great service. “Lex Brodies in Hilo has been my service center for all of my cars and trucks since I moved here in 2007. Their staff is very friendly, their technicians are very knowledgeable and their service is stellar. I will often work for the week on Oahu or Maui and bring my vehicle in on Monday morning, they shuttle me to the airport, work on my vehicle while I’m off island and pick me up at the airport and shuttle me back to pick up my vehicle. Very convenient and efficient!”

“READ THIS!! OK I brought my car into the Honda dealership for an oil change and to check a slowly leaking tire. Honda Dealership completely assured me the tire was unrepairable and said a new tire with mount would cost about $300.
I called K&J for an estimate for a brand new tire at $170 mounted. I thought well that’s much cheaper.
I casually mentioned to them that the dealership said it was unrepairable and should I at least have them look at it to make sure? Well guess what….it was repairable and they fixed it $30 total.
Now they could’ve sold me the tire without saying anything, but they did not. This is the kind of local service in Hilo you can’t get from a corporate entity like Honda dealerships.
I’m 99.9% sure this is the cheapest and most affordable place in town aside from the fact that they’re really just honest humans in the circumstance.”
