“We visited Maui as part of our first visit to Hawaii in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary. Jeanette greeted and assisted us as we shopped for a special ring.
The store has a lot to choose from and I would guess for most any budget. We like a deal and after looking at several pieces, we asked Jeanette about sale items. My husband and I were both drawn to and purchased a unique ring in the Horizon collection.
Jeanette was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient throughout our time there. Later that day I happened to look at the receipt and her last name was my maiden name so that made my purchase even more fun!
If we ever get back to Maui, or if you are planning to visit the island, Na Hoku is a lovely shop in the heart of town and I'm sure you can find the perfect piece of jewelry there, too!”

“I have always had great interactions with Big Island Jewelers. I just had a stone replaced in my ring my husband purchased for me for our 10 year anniversary 4 years ago. As sad as I am that I had to replace my original stone - my ring turned out more beautifully than I imagined.
Chance & Tammie communicated with me through out the whole process. They made recommendations of stones that would be a good fit. They had a beautiful selection that I was able to hand pick from. They were even able to preserve much of my original stone as they had to carefully extract it & redesign the bezel on my ring to fit the new stone.

“We make a point of getting shuck your own pearls wherever we travel as it is a tradition of ours. We have been to 3 different Pearl Factory locations and all of them have been a true joy with the Kona location being our favorite. They never pressure you to mount your pearls in jewelry, which is common for other shuck your own Pearl companies. The staff have always been pleasant to deal with and they do a great job in telling you how to care for your pearls and what the different colors mean. Absolutely love these folks!”
