“I was on vacation from Pennsylvania.I walk in, on a very hot day. I Hand the owner my driver's license while asking to rent a room. She looks at my license, then looks at me and says "Did your mother go to Saint Simon and Jude Chuch in Greentree Pennsylvania? Was her name Josephine?"3000 miles from my house, this woman knew my mother. I just stared in amazement. She had nothing but good things to say about my mother, and she treated me like a son.It was the crazies thing that ever happened to me in my life.As for the hotel and amenities, it was clean, wonderful, very homely. It's not fancy, But a Hawaiian vacation is expensive, and if you want a beautiful, clean amazing place to stay right near the northern edge with great scenery, it's a wonderful place to stay. It's quiet and you can listen to the birds and wildlife. Very relaxing. Also, there's some really great places to eat within walking distance.I'll be back.P.S. I came in late and drunk one night and she criticized me. (Because she knew my mom) that part is hilarious. 3000 miles from home, in your 30s. GROUNDED BRO! LOL”
