Aloha Tower Marketplace is a popular destination in Honolulu offering scenic views and a variety of activities. Visitors can enjoy beautiful sights of the harbor, including the ocean, beach, and Diamond Head, from the outdoor shopping mall area. The marketplace features several restaurants and bars, many of which provide great meals and drinks, and some even offer stunning views from the top of the Aloha Tower. The tower itself, however, is currently closed for long-overdue renovations and is expected to remain so for the next two years, which was disappointing for some visitors hoping to go up and enjoy the panoramic city and harbor views. Despite the tower's closure, the area continues to be a relaxing spot for strolling along the harbor, taking photos, and enjoying the peaceful morning scenery. It is also the departure point for the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise, adding to its appeal. The marketplace includes an outdoor shopping mall with various stores, restaurants, and business suites, although many were closed during some visits due to local holidays. There is a maritime museum nearby and the chance to see large cruise ships docked at the port. Overall, Aloha Tower Marketplace remains a beautiful and worth-visiting area, offering scenic views, shopping, dining, and maritime experiences, even if some attractions are temporarily unavailable.
