“Very good hotel - we were very satisfied by cleanliness and overall quality of amenities. It is about 10 minute walk to the beach, so that was just slightly uncomfortable, but we knew this when booking, so no complaints there. But it is very close to the Ala Moana mall - 5-10 minute walk, so that was super convenient.”

“Unbelievable experience. The venue is incredible, staff is super friendly, and it is so entertaining and educational. So much better than the other luaus on the island. My whole family enjoyed it... It may be the highlight of our entire trip, which includes hiking through a volcano... So that days something.”
“Awesome facilities and general rec area. The parking can be a bit limited. Especially if there are 2 separate parties at the same time. Otherwise the place is nice and has facilities to accommodate.”
“All I can say is it’s worth every penny you pay. My wife and I spent the start of our honeymoon here and even by the end it was our favourite place we stayed. The rooms are gorgeous and setup well, it’s an older hotel but the rooms are up to date and very aesthetic. But the thing we loved the most was the service. The staff were fantastic/friendly and so happy to be there. They would offer to take pictures of us get us new towels. Every time we would want service they knew and were there before we even asked. They were so attentive that we were just dumbfounded at how good it was. It really made our day. The next thing I will say is the breakfast buffet is probably the most unique experience I had. If you want a traditional Japanese style breakfast buffet with miso soup, karage and an assortment of other items it’s the best I’ve had. You also have all your typical American options but the Japanese options were the highlight for sure. Both me and my wife would stay here again. Also to top it all off the location is perfect for exploring Honolulu by foot.”

“As an avid concert goer that travels often for shows I'm always disappointed when I attend shows at the Shell. It has a lot of potential. The venue itself is nice for the size and the location is about as good as it can get being downtown. However, the significant lack of parking, lack of food/drink options, absurd line for drinks, and the lack of diverse music keeps it low amongst outdoor music venues when comparing it to others across the country.”
“Wonderful atmosphere and breathtaking views. Attended a function at the location, the staff was prompt and helpful, everything ran seamlessly and the menu was delicious.”
“I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this one. We added it to the list as a backup in case we needed something indoors, and it ended up being the highlight of the whole trip for my kids.
Everything is hands-on, which is exactly what they want at that age. The water play area alone kept them busy way longer than I thought it would, and the dress-up and pretend-play sections were such a hit. They weren't just walking past exhibits, they were actually doing things the entire time.
It's also nice for the adults. It's not overwhelming, you can see your kids from most spots, and there's plenty of space so it doesn't feel chaotic even when it's busy.
Out of everything we did on Oahu, beaches and resorts included, this was where my kids had the most fun. Genuinely worth putting on your list, not just as a rainy day backup.”

“The houses used for Steve Garrett's house in Hawaii 5-0. Met Sean who played Kamakona's cousin Flippa who sat and talked with us for quite a while. Wonderful sandwiches, drinks, outside on the picnic table. Our guide was part of the Hawaii 5-0 crew when it was filming. He was awesome. Good pics.”
“Highly recommend the luxury cabanas. Starting the day being greeted by an amazing attendant, Mary, was a highlight. She took the time to get to know me, my name, and looked out for the other guest joining me later in the morning. The loungers were incredibly comfortable and let a decent amount of breeze thru while having enough privacy on a cloudless Oahu day. Be aware that the snacks, water, etc. don't come out until around 12pm and poolside bar service doesn't start until 11am, but you can always go to the restaurant bar which allows takeaways and start the drinking anytime. 😉 Overall this was a highlight and if you have the time something to take advantage of while at the infinity pool.”

I love that there are so many activities for the keiki to do and enjoy trying tasty new treats. You also have great opportunities to enter to win prizes and giveaways. Only down side is paying for Blaisdell parking which is $8!!! I never have luck with street parking so if you so that's great for you! Admission is also about $5.50 per person so try to find coupons by following them or from flyers.”

I’d highly recommend the Hub if you’re looking for somewhere to take meetings or get a little work done during your vacation. It’s way better than hotel internet. Signing up and getting access was really simple. I appreciated the clear directions. I’d happily use this space again on future trips!”

“We had a really great experience working out of BoxJelly during the month of April. The location is super convenient, it was easy to find parking and the place has an awesome coffee shop on site called Try Coffee - shoutout to TK and his team. It's also close to a Whole Foods and some great restaurants so easy to grab a bite close by.
Overall, the vibe was a big standout - shoutout to Robbie. It’s the kind of place you actually enjoy working from and if you need some privacy, there are plenty of different sized boardrooms to jump into, and if you need some fresh air, there's an awesome patio.
Great spot if you need a flexible, well-run workspace in Honolulu. We would definitely come back!!”
