“We utilized the drop off service today. I had an easy time setting up the reservation via phone, and completing the parent agreement and payment via email. Drop off itself was quick and easy and the staff was so welcoming of my kids. Pick up was a breeze as well! The kids said they had so much fun and can’t wait to use drop off service again. Shoutout to Mr Ranson for being the best group leader! The kids love him.”

“Choosing the Halekulani for our wedding venue was the best decision we made! The planning process was seamless from start to finish, thanks to their excellent communication. They were quick to respond and provided clear, supportive guidance, which significantly minimized the stress of organizing a major event.
On the day of, the level of attentiveness from the staff was truly remarkable. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and highly professional, ensuring that we had an enjoyable and completely stress-free day.
Another amazing perk of the Halekulani is that they have a flower shop on-site to do your wedding florals. The team at the Halekulani flower shop is extremely talented and will 100% make your vision come to life!
We highly recommend the Halekulani for such an important day. They deliver outstanding service in a beautiful setting, making them the perfect venue.”

“The most amazing experience we had on the island. Highly recommended. Very personal experience, no large crowds, everyone has a front row seat. The host and dancers were incredible. We enjoyed the one on one cultural experience at this beautiful farm. The food was also delicious. A taste of Hawaii! You must visit this place. It really made our trip memorable!”

“As an avid concert goer that travels often for shows I'm always disappointed when I attend shows at the Shell. It has a lot of potential. The venue itself is nice for the size and the location is about as good as it can get being downtown. However, the significant lack of parking, lack of food/drink options, absurd line for drinks, and the lack of diverse music keeps it low amongst outdoor music venues when comparing it to others across the country.”
“First time ever as a guest of the member and his wife. Elk and Elk's wife wanted me to experience the ocean breeze, fireworks and sunset at the same time. And of course amazing food. We had blasting moments together and definitely wanted to go back.”
“8/2023Good for the soul get-together with our '83 classmates. Great venue to hold your next event. Plenty of parking, restrooms, and full bar available. Bring your own food. Spacious, clean, and convenient facilities.”
“Everyone we met was amazing and helpful with getting our vets and active duty all benefits they were owed. Give them a call to see if they can help you apply for your disability. We're a food truck and attend quite a few of their benefits so follow Moore's Soul Food Kitchen. I hope this helped you out.”
“I saw the outside and was intrigued... Plus I love ice cream so had to try. When I entered I was slightly confused, as I saw a bunch of touristy items and clothes for sale, but saw a lady behind what looked like an ice cream counter. Unfortunately, when I went in; they only had gelato the day I went. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and set me up with a cover for my gelato so I could carry it with my lunch items from one of the food trucks. There was also a lilikoi jasmine tea that I saw after I ordered that I will need to try next time. For a grand opening, it was not very busy, but overall a great place to sit and relax if you get too hot from being outside and cool down with some gelato. The Kona Coffee Gelato was fabulous ?.”
“Don't know if he worked here but one night around 2019 I saw someone with a name tag arguing with a group outside and telling them to get lost. Then he zapped a member of their party with a big taser. Another night I was parked across from Mother Walden Park and heard a woman scream from a speeding car, "STOP IT!!!" at the top of her lungs. Have any leads? Leave a comment on my channel!”
“Tool inside a circle Arena built in 1964 and the very last show of their Pacific Rim Tour = ????? Seriously Epic! Not even sad that I went alone :) Fabulous show!!”
“The Entrepreneurs Sandbox is Hawaii’s premier hub for entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts. Hosted by Hub Coworking, it offers dedicated workspaces, meeting rooms, large event spaces, and a recording studio. The kitchen features a high-quality espresso machine with complimentary beverages for members. For coworking or attending tech gatherings in Hawaii, the Sandbox is highly recommended.”
“Playground: Great place to take family. A B dusty, but great open field.Restrooms: 2 kinds of bathroom: with doors and without doors.Dog-friendliness: Take your dogs, but clean up after them.Picnic area: Not that much picnic table so bring your own or eat in the car.”
“The Children’s Discovery Center is an absolute gem for families with very young kids. From the moment we walked in, my child was completely engaged and excited to explore. Every area is thoughtfully designed at a child’s level, making it easy for little ones to move around safely and independently. It’s the perfect environment for toddlers and preschoolers who are naturally curious and love hands-on activities. The space is clean, well-organized, and clearly maintained with young children in mind. Staff members are friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both kids and parents.”
“The hub is the absolute best place. I’ve found in Hawaii to get my work done. The staff and the volunteers there are absolutely incredible. Being there creates an environment that helps you stay productive.”
“Staff is great! Reserved chairs and an umbrella for the second time. There were a few people set up on the beach where I wanted to be and the gentleman said they can move me up when they leave and when I came back later my umbrella and chairs were in the front row. Thanks again!”
“I love this cultural center for the informative museum they maintain. You can also pick from a plethora of modern and antique items in their gift shop. Exceptionally friendly staff.”

“Wonderful Memories, drinking from a couple kegs of beer with my squadron on the patio following an actual aerial recovery with the 6594th Test Group.

“Great people working there. Helped me out for sure. I’m not a flip flop guy so of course I got the wrong size. Went back and they went on a scavenger hunt for the same style in my size. So thank you very much.”
“The proximity paradox: prestige next to the city
Honolulu Country Club sits 10 minutes from downtown Honolulu and the international airport — on 177 acres that feel like a completely different world.
That contrast is not accidental. It's the product of deliberate design, sustained investment, and a membership culture that values privacy, quality, and genuine connection in equal measure.
What stood out was how seamlessly the club balances accessibility of location with exclusivity of experience. It is neither remote nor exposed. It is, in the best sense, curated.
That balance is harder to achieve than it looks. And it raises a question worth thinking about in the context of golf course strategy: where is the value actually created?
For most courses, the answer is on the fairways. For the best clubs, the answer is in the entire environment — the moment you arrive, the people you meet, the rhythm of the place.
Golf experiences worth investing in are the ones where every touchpoint reinforces the same message. Honolulu Country Club has figured that out.

“Very friendly staff. They also have a food bank every Tues and Thursday but you gotta bring your own bag. I haven't gone myself cause if I don't need it I'm saving it for people who do.”
“Came to the Christmas brunch 4 years in a row now...had second thoughts after last year but they're back to their normal high quality standard :) We ate outside on the Lanai...the food was amazing. Worth it!!!”
“The houses used for Steve Garrett's house in Hawaii 5-0. Met Sean who played Kamakona's cousin Flippa who sat and talked with us for quite a while. Wonderful sandwiches, drinks, outside on the picnic table. Our guide was part of the Hawaii 5-0 crew when it was filming. He was awesome. Good pics.”
“Excellent space with strong and stable Wi-Fi! Super convenient that it’s open almost 24/7. The inside is clean and feels safe.
I’d highly recommend the Hub if you’re looking for somewhere to take meetings or get a little work done during your vacation. It’s way better than hotel internet. Signing up and getting access was really simple. I appreciated the clear directions. I’d happily use this space again on future trips!”
“Thank you Manager & B Side Staff for letting us have our Mom's Birthday Party there. The service was amazing! The bartenders, waiters, security, cleanup crew, music & DJ. Many of our guests didn't know of this gem. The setting was beautiful and very spacious. My Mom of course It as well.”
“The music was great. The food was very good except for the main course which was embarrassing. But for $49.00 you got a four course dinner and some of the best jazz anywhere. It's a great deal, next time I come to Hawaii, I will come back.”
“Had a wonderful time. Great place to hang out. There is alcohol and great customer service.
They also validate parking and have food.
90 minutes was perfect amount of time. Music was nostalgic jams and just hit right.
Miles! Was a phenomenal coach.”
