Awful “Genius Bar” experience!! (4/6 at 2:45pm) Go to Apple Kahala for a better experience.The technician was friendly at first but showed 0 compassion. The manager is useless and wasn’t helpful at all!! My $2000 MacBook Pro’s screen failed two months out of the warranty. There was no physical damage done to the display or the laptop itself and I treated the laptop very well. I’m a college student and I saved for a while to make a big purchase on this laptop only for the screen to stop working after a year. The technician told me I should’ve paid the $260 Apple care fee when I purchased the laptop. I told him the display should still be working after a year and he said “I can’t agree or disagree with you”….. so I guess he thinks the screen shouldn’t be working after a year?? Both the technician and the manager only glanced at the Macbook for a couple of seconds. They didn’t even try to inspect the problem and immediately quoted me $750 to fix it!! I explained I couldn’t afford it and almost bursted out crying and they didn’t seem to have any compassion at all. They both acted like they had no time to help and couldn’t care less. I used to be a HUGE Apple fan and converted my family to their products and definitely regret it! Don’t come to this store! I’ve been to another Apple store on the mainland a couple of times near my hometown and they’ve always been extremely helpful. I’ve now heard from many people that this store has tried to scam them out of their money as well! They're clearly trying to scam tourists but also affecting the locals and people who live here!

Terrible customer service and communication. Be aware of physically damaged items. If you want to figure out why the new item is physically damaged and spend money and time for that and bad customer service, you can go to this store.I had a terrible experience at this Apple store with customer service, communication, and a damaged product. I purchased a USB cable on Sunday (March 24th) and noticed cracks upon first use. When I returned to the store on March 27th with the cable and receipt, I initially explained my situation to an employee at the door and I told them I would like a replacement, who directed me to the order pick-up desk. While waiting for assistance, another staff member approached me. Despite my clear explanation of the issue, he repeatedly insisted the item was non-refundable, sort of being sarcastic, saying things like 'I believe you, I believe you.' Only after expressing my frustration did they suggest a replacement after inspection by a technician.When the technician arrived, I requested to speak with the manager and was surprised to find the same unhelpful employee. The manager said sorry and that wasn’t his intention. However, their attitude remained dismissive. Ultimately, they refused a replacement, citing physical damage and a discrepancy in cable color, offering only a $3 discount as compensation. They even did not check the manufacturing date. When I asked if I was supposed to check the item for damage or color discrepancies before leaving the store, the manager said yes, you could if you wanted.I find it unreasonable to expect customers to anticipate such issues, especially with a reputable brand like Apple. The lack of adequate assistance is unacceptable. Suggesting that I intentionally damaged the cable is absurd; why would I inconvenience myself by damaging a new product I bought a couple of days ago and driving all the way to the store for a replacement if that were the case?I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by the Apple store staff. As a loyal customer, I expect better treatment and resolution of issues. I hope this feedback prompts necessary improvements in customer service and product quality assurance.

Very Happy that I was able to get a replacement for my 7 month old phone that stopped charging. Gonna miss that phone like Short Circuit number 5 but thankful that I got a new one today. Thank you for your help. Really saved me ??

Bad experience I book appointment for Vision Pro.they give me appointment after 1hour but when I came they cancel my appointment and said to boo again waist of time.just because they think I am not gonna buy.

I was on a trip to Hawaii and got my 15 pro max from here. I must say the entire staff was pretty helpful and upcoming in helping me out pick the right set for me based on the my i phone usage.

I decided to buy a new MacBook because I was afraid mine would die on me (it was a pretty old computer) and I would lose important school-related files. The person at Apple assured me that everything was backed up on iCloud. I asked him 3 times to make sure my files were backed up, explaining that my files were important school assignments and projects, and all three times he promised me they were. They took my old MacBook and erased it.When I got home, none of my important files were on iCloud. I contacted Apple support to see if they could help me recover them. They told me my files were lost.In the end, the reason for my purchase (the fear of losing important files) ended up being the reason that I lost all my important files.Now I'm screwed and I have no clue what I'm going to do about all my lost school files.Thanks Apple!

Extremely rude and entitled staff. I’ve never been to an Apple with such a disrespectful employees. I was help by a blonde lady, skinny, tall, bad posture, bad teeth, hard to say her age she looks old on her face but so young on her actions whose name I can’t remember, as well as the manager who was called to process the return who was a white men on his 40s. Both of this employees were the worse out of the worse, disrespectful, entitled, look annoyed since the first word they said to me.

Horrible experience here. The screen of my phone stopped responding and we went here for help. We were told that we need to get a new phone and that they couldn’t help us since we were at the beach and it may be because of water damage. The man helping us states, “as a tech, I know what I’m doing and it will just waste time”. He didn’t even bother to take a look at the phone. Luckily, we went to the location in Kahala and they were able to fix it.
