“I love this gallery. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. Although it is on the smaller side, there is a vast amount of art from local artists. There’s everything from paintings to watercolor to ceramics. They have a rather large selection of woodworking bowls, and such. All types of different wood grains, most focused on the woods of Hawaii. There’s also jewelry as well. Pay a visit here you’ll be glad you did.”
“Shopping in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii...I was on my way to Sun Chong Grocery on Hotel Street, when I noticed the merchandise on shelves on the sidewalk. I had just parked my car on Maunakea Street when I decided to take a quick look at Hawaiian Asian Art Auction...The lucky red envelopes caught my eye... Especially the cute Year of the Rabbit envelopes! I asked, "How much?" in English as I handed three packs of envelopes to the friendly lady at the door. She said, "For you - Five Dollars." I thought: Wow! Such a good deal! I had paid more at the store down the street. I hid my happiness (I was bursting) as I handed over some cash. While she was getting change for me, I saw some lucky zodiac Animal key chains that would be great as gifts. She was offering them to me at a dollar off! Whoa! I got two! Haha!I browsed the bracelets and jade charms. Gosh - I should return with a list. These would make super good birthday presents!Who doesn't need more good luck, right???”
“We were in need of expert advice on how to reframe our oil painting. Sean is such a pro and had some beautiful frames.
With his guidance we found the perfect frame which enhanced our painting. Then we followed his recommendation for the matting in linen. Sean warned us it would be expensive and there would be delay in acquiring these special materials. He was right in all ways. It certainly turned out beautifully and his workmanship was impeccable. We highly recommend Sean and Pacific Gallery and Frames.”
“Went here on a whim and was blown away by some of their new pieces, Sabrina was smashing — I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. If you are looking for rare art pieces to add to your collection I weighed recommend stopping by here.”
“Excellent photographer with a beautiful display set up for all to see. Alan was very kind and informative when I stopped at his booth to view his pieces. I absolutely fell in love with one of his large landscape pieces and knew I needed it in my living at home. I purchased it and the order was shipped directly to my house in a very timely manner and it was perfect for the space I had in mind. All my guests always comment on how beautiful it is and I can’t wait to purchase more of his stunning artwork. Thank you Alan for sharing your artistic talents with the world.”

“Such a cute shop for local artwork! The best part is they offer shipping (for $15 dollars at the time I went) to the mainland and the two paintings I purchased actually made it home to Texas before I did in perfect condition!! So glad I made a stop here before my trip ended :)”
“My husband and I have enjoyed visiting this local shop and gallery for many years now & recently found a beautiful unique Pegge Hopper that we purchased and are so happy with! I highly recommend visiting Maggie's shop - it's eclectic and full of beautiful pieces!!”
“My recent 2023 visit to Honolulu allowed me to visit Tabora Gallery Waikiki for my first time. Seascape artist Roy Tabora is the world's best seascape artist, in my humble opinion. I was pleased to read Tabora had a gallery in Waikiki Beach & so I looked forward to seeing it on this visit. At Tabora Gallery, I enjoyed meeting Brandy, Gallery Art Consultant, & getting updated/more educated about Roy's work. I was pleased to see Tabora's artwork in this gallery. His work remains stunningly beautiful. If you enjoy seascape art, I strongly recommend visiting any Tabora Gallery near you, particularly at the Tabora Gallery Waikiki. ?”
“Mike the owner was very gracious and informative about his gallery and the works he is selling. We saw contemporary works as well as those done by older artists, along with some beautiful feather pieces, ceramics and glass. There is an upstairs gallery where the shows are held several times a year. For bonus points there is La Gelateria next door that gets great reviews if you need some gelato.”

“Mahalo nui loa for all your kindness and helpfulness in replacing my Wyland books that were lost when our home burnt down in the Hermits Peak, Calf Canyon forest fires, in New Mexico. ?My heart breaks knowing everything you lost in the Lahaina fires.
It was a joy getting to touch the brushes he was going to use at the event. ☺️With, much aloha to the wyland staff, Jean”
“Was assisted by Natalia and Manon. Neither could have been more professional and helpful in finding just the piece we were looking for. No 'hard sell'. Just timely responses to our questions and consummate politeness in all interactions.”
“I did the DAC Walking Tour: Art, History & Architecture in the HEART of Honolulu today and it was excellent Susan and Gary were fantastic guides. I highly recommend doing it.”
