“Miyuki is an incredibly talented seamstress, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
I brought her my mother’s wedding dress from the 1990s. It was outdated and had a stain on it, and honestly, I did not have very high expectations. I simply hoped she could transform it into something modest, beautiful, and fitting for me. What she created was far beyond anything I could have imagined.
Miyuki completely transformed my mother’s dress into the most stunning gown. She perfectly captured the vision I had in mind, including incorporating details inspired by the bodice of my grandmother’s wedding dress. When I put the dress on, I truly felt like a princess. It was elegant, timeless, and more beautiful than I ever dreamed possible.
She also created a beautiful Hawaiian muʻumuʻu for me using silk that my grandfather brought back from India over 30 years ago. Since my grandfather has passed away, this fabric was extremely meaningful to me, and Miyuki treated it with such care and respect. The finished dress was absolutely gorgeous and deeply special to me.
In addition to her extraordinary craftsmanship, Miyuki is kind, gentle, hardworking, and an excellent communicator. She made the entire process easy and stress-free, and I felt so honored to have her create these treasured garments for me.

“One of my favorite shows to watch is "Say Yes the Dress". As parents we always dreamt of having that emotional moment when our daughter finds THE DRESS. Magnolia White's location had plenty of parking and was beautifully set up. Their staff was welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. They had a wide variety of dresses available for her to try. They were patient as she searched for that perfect dress. The whole experience of our daughter choosing her wedding dress was magical despite it was during the COVID pandemic. It was so memorable when she walked out with THE DRESS. Gasp & tears from her father and I was so special. Unfortunately the wedding was postponed for a year because of the pandemic. They offered to hold onto the dress for safe keeping at a small cost but did not charge until after the original pick up date expired which was well worth it. The dress was stunning and our daughter was so beautiful!!”

You have to knock to get in (they keep the doors locked for security purposes) and they were able to take us as a walk in. I walked away with the cutest jade bracelet, and the owner even gave me a white beaded bracelet for free for good luck!! So sweet and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend :)”
