“I had an AMAZING experience here! Millie helped me find the perfect dress at my first appointment ever trying on dresses. I am in love with my dress and it was so nice to be able to share my special moment with my loved ones too.I would highly recommend Bijou Bridal and especially consultant Millie! She is the best.”

“One of my favorite shows to watch is "Say Yes the Dress". As parents we always dreamt of having that emotional moment when our daughter finds THE DRESS. Magnolia White's location had plenty of parking and was beautifully set up. Their staff was welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. They had a wide variety of dresses available for her to try. They were patient as she searched for that perfect dress. The whole experience of our daughter choosing her wedding dress was magical despite it was during the COVID pandemic. It was so memorable when she walked out with THE DRESS. Gasp & tears from her father and I was so special. Unfortunately the wedding was postponed for a year because of the pandemic. They offered to hold onto the dress for safe keeping at a small cost but did not charge until after the original pick up date expired which was well worth it. The dress was stunning and our daughter was so beautiful!!”

“Located on the corner of Liliha St and Kuakini St., there's a tiny parking lot just past the building on Liliha St. Parking is free. Not open on Saturdays. Still the best place to come for beads, charms and now, cabochons & silicones for pen making. I hadn't been here in years and was pleasantly surprised how much the store changed. You can still get the silver charms and beads, and components to make your own jewelry. I cane in for the holiday charm earring kits. They put the components for making a pair of earrings (minus the posts) into a do it yourself kit. Great Christmas gift. CBY is the party invitation and favor headquarters. They have been for many years. The owner ladies are so talented and creative, and are so helpful in getting on started on a craft project. They will make suggestions of styles and color schemes and components to use. They love helping the youngsters, too. A very warm and homey, family run craft supply store. The last of a dying breed. Buy local, support local, make new friends!”

“The Aunty's in here were so nice when I was looking for a wedding dress. After I tried on a few dresses, they knew exactly what I wanted and brought out a dress I really liked. The tailoring process was really easy too. There were no issues at all. I highly recommended!”

“The store was busy, air conditioning was cool, as soon as we walked in someone asked if we needed help(no appt needed). We probably spent about 45min buying a suit. $179 for coat, tie, long sleeve shirt, pants. You can pay extra $25 for hemming which takes about 1 week, $10 for a suit bag. Parking in the municipal lot in the Marin Tower (enter from Smith St). Great experience, would highly recommend them. I saw many girls trying on prom dresses, those seemed to range from $200-$400 dollars. All staff were so attentive and pleasant to every customer in the store. Since you are in Chinatown, walk a few blocks to Maurkame Udon and grab an affordable lunch or dinner.”

“Found the shop by accident since I happened to park just in front of it, I was actually trying to find another jewelry shop and was pressed for time. The door is kept locked, so the woman opened it and they replaced my watch battery in less than 7mins on the spot. It was worth the $10, even if the other shop quoted me at $7. Street parking only. Located mauka side if King St, next to another jewelry shop, and 1 shop down to the left from the market with some green awning.”

“Last minute suit rentals for my family members who needed to attend my mother's funeral (in 6 days). I looked into quotes for two places, and this was the best and most reasonable. He also got back to me right away via email - not sure about the complaints about unresponsiveness. The store was spacious and clean, and very conveniently located in a Kaimuki shopping plaza. An hour fitting is about $1.50 for parking fees which are paid via credit card. They also provide shoe rentals for $20 if needed (we didn't opt for this but very reasonable pricing!). The husband/wife owners were gracious, warm and very friendly. Made both my father and brother feel at ease and comfortable. I would 100% come back again for formal needs.”

“I was looking for a place that had formal dresses for kids. When we walked in, we're immediately greeted and led to the area where the kids dresses were. The guy asked her what color dress she wanted and when she told him he started pulling the ones they had out. Both him and his wife were the absolute sweetest and so helpful. The lady definitely knew her stuff and even knew what shoe size to bring without me even having to tell her what size. The prices were very reasonable and the dresses are really good quality. I've found my shop for formal dress needs!”

“I thought finding a wedding dress was going to be a stressful process but Olivia and Kaylynn was THE BEST! Obviously wedding dresses are expensive but they didn't try to sell me the most expensive one and truly cared about what I wanted as a customer, and not what would've made them the most profit. I'm also very insecure when it comes to my body image and I did not feel uncomfortable at all during our entire appointment. My budget was on the smaller side but I found the most perfect dress in ONE hour. And it was $700 LESS than my max budget! Overall, my experience at Masako bridal exceeded my expectations.”

“This boutique is a gem that is passed by so many times. The owner & her son are friendly & down to earth. Their gowns/selections are abundant with new shipments coming in frequently. Had i discovered this gem sooner, i would've brought all my daughters here for there ball gowns. I can say for sure that if they ever decide to get married, this is where I would go. They have been open since 1984 and they don't advertise like the other gown and bridal shops. This alone will tell you that they are a place to go when looking for gowns or even renting a suit or tuxedo. Check them out!”
