My parents have been coming to this Central pacific bank since we moved10 years ago and they met Shelly Sung. They always edified her how much she cared and helped them, It was always in my thought. Today I met her for the first we came because my dad has passed and we had to closed his accounts and get a notary. In customer service is how much you care, she gave that to a A+.... 5 star!!! and beyond my mom was still mourning and she really really went out of the way to show how sincere and loving she is. Thank you from the bottom of my heart we got all the process done fast and very efficiently .Thank you Shelly Sung (Universal Banker) Much blessing for your help and GREAT Customer service all these years to my parents and now also Me.

so i rarely do reviews but sad to say this is the only location where ive had problems with depositing my funds. so i agree with all low reviews of this place. thursday nov4 i tried to deposit a check which required a signature from my wife and a photo of her picture ID as per the manager. i go all the way home and come back with a signature and photo of my wifes ID and manager still wouldnt accept it! so i go to the aiea location and what do u know?! they deposited it without question!! wth is going on! because i only have problems at THIS LOCATION ive decided to eventually end my relationship with this bank since i live close by and need more consistent customer service. tired of dealing with the headaches of minor protocols when ive been with this bank for over 10 years. closing time! peace.

Have to agree with other reviewers. I usually go to kapiolani branch. Mapunapuna is way too busy for the amount of employees on staff. And once at the counter, the teller was quite unhelpful, as if I was bothering her.

Pretty horrible experience at this bank just trying to open an account. Marilou Mortimer was working on opening my account but didn’t appear to have a clue how to read the paper work. I had all the correct paper work but she insisted to send it to the back office for review.This was on a Thursday and now hearing back on a Tuesday that she’s out sick. There’s no one else who can assist and she won’t be back for a week.The bank seems short staffed and unorganized. Be prepared for the worst and be patient. There’s a reason this bank has not so good reviews.I have numerous banks I use and this is by far the worst.

Beware of Banks that Don't return peoples money! The bank refuse to return my money. They refuse to cooperate. Refuse to admit that they gave away my monthly statement to strangers at Ala Moana park. The bank do not do as I request. The bank refuse to listen to me every time I go there. The rude and obnoxious and direspectful. The bank alter my account without my consent and knowledge. The bank had cut off my debit card and block me from any attempts to retrieve MY money. They gave false misleading statements. Gave excuses and impossible demands to justify there intent to steal all of my money. The bank employee Nina White manipulate my account type. The waipahi branch manipulated my address and account information. The pearl city branch argue with me. The kalihi branch block me from my money. The main branch has stolen my money and gave me the run around , and false excuses. The woman ms.Leasiolagi wants to keep my money after I die. She will make excuse to give me a hard time like all the other staff of all the branches. The bank gives me a hard time about anything I do or request of. The takes money from account holders. Everything the bank tells me is false and mislead me on a wild goose chase. They have never been accommodating. They are not to be trusted with anyone's money. They have not portray any integraty or reliability nor trustworthy to me since day one of my account. They neglected to disclose their accounting balance in my account. They refuse to disclose to me what they did to my account and money. They refuse to cooperate in tracing down the trail and where about and fraudulent merchant routed my money to in Florida. Refues to release any record of the transaction to me nor cooperate with the consumer protection nor the with the sun state Florida BBB and comerece department of Florida.They would rather I die and go away so they have an excuse to keep my money and erase any trace of my account. I had to write a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and a Ms. Riley Angell responded with excuses and false answers and never returned a single penny of MY money.The bank pretends to work me. Rather in truth they work against me and block me. She lies in her responses on goolge. One year later they still have NOT return my money after I met all their demands. They mislead me. I will have to sue them in court for the return of my money. BAD BAD BAD !THE WORLD SHOULD KNOW THANKS TO GOOGLE.

I've been banking with CPB for over 15 yrs. Loved the service I received whenever I went into the branches. The people are friendly & knowledgeable. Today I haven't felt so frustrated calling their Customer Service Center. First waited on hold for almost 30 minutes. Then the rep ended up not being able to help and had to contact a supervisor who was not there so she would have to call me back. What I was asking was not hard. So mad that I told her that after all this time with them that I'm closing my acct & taking my business elsewhere
