Basalt really is the best restaurant in Waikiki. Chef Lance creates dishes that are local favorites, but elevated! If you want to taste the best of Hawaii, the freshest local ingredients and the favorite dishes of the islands, you have to go to Basalt!

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here after an incredibly long travel day. The manager was very friendly and offered great suggestions and the server was very friendly. The food was very well prepared and sooo tasty. Highly recommend the watermelon salad and the miso cod!
