Hawaii Opera Theatre offers fantastic productions ranging from beloved classics to new and exciting works. It provides a very beautiful, super fun, and relaxing experience for all, including families. The theatre is a comfortable place to congregate and socialize. Performances feature very nice voices, amazing singing and acting, effective sets, and delightful orchestras, props, costumes, and background effects. The opera is gripping and heart-wrenching, evoking much emotion and making one think about the past, present, and future. It is a fascinating and thought-provoking experience, highly recommended to both locals and visitors. This is not your grandmother's opera; it is definitely HOT.
Night of 1,000 Julias a must see! Kudos to HOT for producing this fun Studio 101 event at Scottish Rite Cathedral, a surprise and delightful venue. The Julia Child inspired treats were delicious.

Good show. Nice temporary location at Moanalua. There was a nice display about Honouliuli war camp. Very nice voices and effective set. Too bad I was so far back I couldn't see their expressions. Very informative and makes one think about past, present, and future.

I enjoyed watching Cinderella with my children at this theater. It’s a very beautiful theater and a super fun and relaxing experience.
