We had some crazy wiring and challenges to installation in the home and Isaac made it look easy. He was so friendly and explained everything really well and everything was set up perfectly. He really took care of the aesthetics and made it look great.

Canceled the HTC account after signing on with Spectrum. Sent back the modem to HTC and they claim they never received it. Hounding me with invoices bills +$200 charge . Luckily I found the UPS receipt as proof they already got the box. Mental note: Keep the tracking # or pay up the additional $200. That's how they get you in the end. They owe me a $50 credit check, 4 weeks past and still no credit.Poor customer service and shady at the end.

Alex came before promised time and promptly addressed my issues with the TV box, as well as changing up my router so my internet/TVs worked properly. Alex knew his stuff and patiently explained and fixed all my problems. He mentioned his mentor was great. Alex was very professional, competent and hell of a nice guy!!

Tried several times to have someone pickup my TV and Internet equipment. I cancelled my account and agent lady on phone said pickup of equipment will be the next day. No show. Called again. Agent says return items to any FedEx location. She would email me return label to place on packaging. Never got it. Long wait time to get contact with agent. What's next? Am I going to be charged for the stuff if it's not returned?

The condo building that I reside in, is one that Hawaiian Telcom installed an antenna on the roof.As a result "All" occupants receive free TV/Internet.This morning a new dysfunctional symptom, NO sound.My last post resulted in Hawaiian Telcom reaching out. Enough of the incompetent!

The worst customer service I've experienced in any industry. I've lost hours of my life dealing with the least competent customer service providers regarding a number of issues in just my 5 months of service. Getting any help or support is like pulling teeth. In 5 months of service I ran into issues with billing discrepancies, service outages that couldn't be fixed for days at a time, and mistakes on equipment. I genuinely believe you could ask a bunch of middle schoolers to run an internet company and they would provide similar level of service and competency.

UPDATE: A couple of local representatives followed up with me and finally got internet service installed over the weekend. The H&M subcontractor was very professional with the installation. Hawaiian Telcom just keep the customer service call center local and don't use offshore call centers. I think that's the source of the break in communication.

Terrible, no parking for this location.Response to owner: Visiting Hawaiian Telcom, especially for equipment returns, should not be an inconvenience for the customer. Why do I need to pay just to come drop off equipment?

Why does it take half a day to fix an internet outage? I never had to wait this long for other service providers to fix an outage.Customer support is horrendous. The wait time is minimal 30 minutes.Edit: called customer service again to check on the outage and the wait time now is one hour.

It took me 8 hours in total to shut down this account. Because their System Issue. Call them 5 times and I still have to come to their office. The Customer Service is such a waste of time. The Worst internet service I ever had. The so-called tech leader of Hawai’i ‘s internet service makes me feel like back to 2000s.

Have been paying for the 750mb plan. When I run a speedtest it never gets above 500. Last few days been below 200. Total rip off..Time to go back to SpectrumUpdate 10/25/23: I have been lazy and have switched back to Spectrum yet. Service bad as ever. I have been doing speed tests the last few weeks. Still paying for 750mb and getting 200-400mb with constant freezing on my service. There is one big difference, my upload has gone up to about 600mb. It appears Hawaiian Telcom is way more interested in taking info out of my computer than letting me bring information in. Criminals.

They tried to charge me $200 for "not returning equipment". Thankfully I had the FedEx tracking number saved in my email. Do not trust this company.

Honestly, I would give zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service, was told that it would take a month to send out a technician for residential repairs, and it's like they make it deliberately difficult to cancel service so they can hit you with undisclosed fees. I have been hung up on by their call center more than once, and received no call back. Avoid this service.
