Kamamalu Market is a great convenience store and a gem for snack lovers. It is the best and only place for many to buy spam musubi, with an original version and a spam/egg version. The musubi is crispy, not soggy, with the perfect rice to spam ratio and nori that stays intact. It is made fresh every morning, affordable, and easy to pack for the beach, sports games, potlucks, and outings. The market also has a solid selection of alcohol and a wall of gummies, including addictive lemon peel gushers and li hing varieties, along with chocolate covered bears and other treats. Prices are reasonable, the service is great, and the convenience is unbeatable, making it a number one go-to spot.
Amazing spam musubis! Best that we’ve had during this trip, better than Musubi Iyasume. The ratio between rice, spam and egg was perfect.

This little neighborhood store is a gem. The family that work the register is always pleasant and their prices beat any 7-11, I go there quite often, always greeted with a smile and fast service.
