“Hey a gas station review! Well actually yes, this is an excellent gas station. It has lots of room, plenty of stalls which are seldom out of service, and the store is actually a medium sized supermarket. They even have a coffee food truck that is one of the best coffees in town!”

“Great store to pickup items you may not have brought with you or just need to get for your stay in the area. Bigger than I expected with a vast variety of items. From shirts and souvenirs to food and snacks. It's a one stop shop. The employees were really attentive and helpful. I appreciated the convenience of having them located so closely to the hotels in the area.”
“I remember making my way up to this location for my first time about a year ago to pay my bill. Their office is located on the 17th floor. The waiting room is such a nice and cozy little area, it's decorated with a few old fashioned style gas pumps. I got helped pretty quickly, i forgot her name but she was nice, professional and really helpful in assisting me with all my questions. Tip: If you work or live in the downtown area, save a stamp and drop off your payments here. You'll like how they decorated their waiting area”

“Quite big store, have a good collections of life essentials from food and drinks to wearings or bus cards. Price is a little bit higher than the smaller stores somehow, but still a good place to buy things during a vacation.”
“I like getting gas there. Now that it just reopened a few days ago. Not so crowed as the main gas lanes.Right now the Mart is in renovations and implementing new shelving. Half of the store is blocked out. Great location within the residential area to pickup some snacks and drinks. Must have a military ID to purchase.”

“Needed a nice wine, cork screw, glasses, fresh fruit and more for an evening on the beach. Had great personal service from their employee who walked the store with me to be sure I found everything I needed. Plus two nice canvas bags to carry it all.”

I was able to grab a six pack of beer rather than go to an overpriced bar, chips for snacking, iced tea which is my drink of choice, water in case of a zombie apocalypse, and floss because I forgot to pack it, all at decent prices. Thank you!

“They were so wonderful!!! It was my daughter and Is first vacation and the staff was so friendly! Our hotel was around the corner so it became a daily pit stop between our hotel and the beach. We even won a beautiful sea turtle coffee mug and tote bag as keepsakes from our adventures. I highly recommend them ❤”

“Gasoline in Honolulu, Hawaii...This gasoline station might be more convenient for those who live "in town." Located on the right side of King Street, before Straub Hospital and Clinic, Hele Gasoline posted $4.43 per gallon for cash purchases. Because I have the Hele app, I went inside the attached convenience store, paid cash on a weekend, and got 25 cents off of the Credit Card price ($4.28 per gallon, instead of $4.53 per gallon).The cashier was friendly and helpful! He scanned the barcode on my phone (after he waited patiently for me to get my phone from the car... LOL!)The store was clean, bright, and tidy! (I didn't look at the snacks, but I know they were there.)There were no lines for gasoline! Yay!I'll be back again soon!”

“This little neighborhood store is a gem. The family that work the register is always pleasant and their prices beat any 7-11, I go there quite often, always greeted with a smile and fast service. In and out. The parking in front is often full as they share parking with the laundromat but the grassy area across the street is convenient.”

“Fantastic little spot ? Quite a bit of variety crammed into a tiny , clean, well organized space. The homemade snacks they sell at the counter are all good , I miss the butter mochi cake the lady used to make . I always come here when I stay at the hotel across the street when traveling for work. I'll see if I can update with some photos. The mean cashier bit is baloney. This is a mom n pop setup, and they work hard & care about their space. Prices ? ... welcome to Hawaii TAXES ?”
“Convenience store selection of regular groceries and sundries, but they also carry items Micronesia-centric items you won’t find anywhere else, like You lemon powder (used in Guam recipes like chicken kelaguen), fresh betel nut, uroh (Pohnpeian colorful skirts), flags of the different islands, and more. There were hot boxes for warm foods but didn’t see any in the displays.
Parking is limited to 4 spots, and the entrance is on Kalakaua Avenue.”

“One of the busier stations in the area, but attached to a popular 7-Eleven. Receipt printers are frequently out of paper on the pumps and sometimes the pumps run slow. Line inside is always long, but it's a good Sevens, so of course it is.”
“Pretty good gas prices. There is even a ice machine outside which is convenient for me when I am on my way to the beach. Good variety of selection inside of drinks and snacks. And has alot of selection of smokes. Alcohol has a curfew of course and mostly has your usual beer and basic wine. Not many stalls to park but people are usually in and out pretty quickly.”

“Found my new neighborhood treasure right here on Kapahulu! Kusina Asian Market is small but mighty — the kind of spot that makes you feel like you walked into a kababayan's pantry. They've got everything I need for halo-halo: Kaong (the red sugar palm fruit), nata de coco, sugar palm, macapuno, and that gorgeous Kapuso ube spread for my haupia and ube desserts. Lutong Bahay halo-halo mix in syrup too, so you don't have to hunt down ten jars at three different stores.
The drink cooler is a whole vibe — ice-cold Nestlé Milo, TAS coconut water, lychee drink, all the good stuff. Pantry shelves are stocked with the staples: Silver Swan soy sauce, Lee Kum Kee oyster sauce, Chaokoh, Vermont Curry, Spam (classic AND lite, they know us), Morton salt, calamansi, and noodles for days. Filipino, Korean, Thai, Chinese — they cover the whole spread.
Prices are fair, the shelves are clean and well-organized, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. You can tell this is a labor of love, not just a business. For those of us in Kapahulu who don't always want to drive out to the big markets, this is a blessing. Convenient, stocked with the things that taste like home, and run by good people.
Five stars, no question. Support local, support Filipino-owned, and come stock your pantry. Salamat, Kusina — you've got a regular in me! ?”
