Ke'ehi Lagoon Memorial is a peaceful and beautiful place with a great open field, though it can be dusty. It is a very spacious and accommodating hall, well taken care of and great for parties, gatherings, and events. The staff and administrative office are very nice. It is free to the public to rent, though for personal use like a family picnic, it is advisable to ask a staff member first as there are no obvious reservation signs. There are picnic tables, but not many. The restrooms have two kinds: with doors and without doors. It is a dog-friendly place, but owners must clean up after their pets. The location is also used for organized community events like vaccination drives.
