“Was looking for 3-1/4” flooring to replace a few termite damaged sections in a house built in the 50s. They had it in stock! Sales was friendly and helpful, and the warehouse staff was very conscientious about helping me find the best pieces available, even though I was only buying 3 pieces. Would definitely recommend checking these good folks out.”

“I love the bathroom store. Kyoko Quale is the best. She is so knowledgeable about the products. She was able to work with our contractors, providing details about what was needed for installation. And when one of our items was back ordered, she lent us a shower head to use for when my son comes home for spring break! And the Toto products are excellent. Such high quality. Thank you Kyoko and the bathroom store!”

“Worked with this company to get a one-of-a-kind once in a lifetime Marble Slab, actually two of them. Could not be happier with the quality, but also, they were so accommodating to me. The price was again like I said once in a lifetime. I will be going back here for every slab of stone I will ever need. Thank you guys so much.”

“I went in with some OLD plumbing parts needed replacement and they didn't even have mfg name on them. The fella at the check out listened patiently and then said "let's see what we can find for you". We went to one aisle and he deduced what I needed and we fitted things before leaving. He could have just said "I don't know" but he didn't. Mahalo”

“what a GREAT experience, needed new kitchen and bathroom cabinets in a condo, had gone to another place and got a quote for $35000, a friend who's a contractor said to check out C&C, soooo glad I did, worked with Margaret who is AMAZING, she was patient on multiple changes, questions, measurements, she also had great ideas on what would work and not work etc, had them (associated company, not C&C) also do the install, everything all in came to just under 20k, they were on time and kept their promises, tear down was 1 day, install was 1 day, WHAT?!?!, condo looks perfect, can't be happier, so much of HI life is yeah cost is double and it's not great but C&C broke that idea into little bits”

“They had on the shelf, a hard to find old Elgin shower valve cartridge. The salesman at the counter hardly even saw me get the used part out to show him and he knew right away what I was looking for - he knew his stuff!

It makes me frustrated to see bad reviews. This is just my opinion, but I think the people with poor reviews often do not understand the big picture and how this works.

Since I'm a contractor on the mainland I see this place is primarily for professionals. I'm pretty sure they aren't trying to or care to be one of the big box stores. It's just not their main focus.

They also probably aren't set up for returns or dealing with open packages or complaints.

Their retail prices cannot be compared to online stores - a plumber may get a better price so they can mark it up to pay for their expenses. But they also know what they need then do their job, and they also cannot afford to spend time doing lots of returns.

The people there are very knowledgeable, but they are not a DIY place trying to teach you how to save money.

How much are you truly saving if you need to maybe take off days from work, get the parts, possibly buy tools/supplies and return things? Not to mention that you may not have water during this time.

My situation was a little different I had limited time to get my repair done so I couldn't order something and wait for it to arrive. The price was the price and it was still a reasonable value, but even if I found it cheaper elsewhere, how does that help me if I don't have it in my hands?

So lucky I had help from some locals (at a competitor) to guide me to PP&S and they saved me.

Thanks! 🤙”

“Although it’s pretty small in size, there are lots of organizing items in here. Stuff for all around your house. Containers to store food in, storage bins, and even shelving. There’s also a lot of kitchen gadgets. Some decorative household items like artificial plants. There really is a wide array of items here and they’re all at top quality.”

“I saw the sign about having an appointment on July, 12 2023. I just walked in and was helped by the friendly staff not wearing a mask. I think that the sign was an old Covid thing of the past.”
