“I bought my kitchen appliance from Bob 6 years ago. 4-5 years in, I had an ongoing issue with my range, and Bob managed to get me warranty help even though it was past the due date. He responded quickly to my request by email even after all those years. Today, I emailed him about my lights going bad inside my fridge, and he responded immediately with a plan of action. It's so rare to see this kind of follow up these days, and to be able to maintain a connection like that over that amount of time is amazing. This review is long overdue. “I heard that this is the busiest Home Depot in the US. I wonder if it will keep that distinction with the opening of their new store in Māpunapuna. This store (1701 is their store number, I believe) is always well-stocked and clean. It can sometimes be difficult to get assistance, even though the store is well-staffed and associates can be found in the aisles... the problem is that when you approach them with a question, 2/3 of the time they're from another department and don't have the answer I need. However, when the right associate is located, they are knowledgeable, helpful, and quite friendly.”

“I was looking for a specific baking pan couldn't find at Chef Zone sorry... Called in the person who answered was very polite and helpful took just seconds she was able to confirm that they had over 300 in stock. When I arrived the same person who answered the phone remembered what I was looking for and directed me right to it. Check out was just as simple, I'm glad I did a yelp search and gave them a call. FYI prices here was even cheaper than Amazon for the specific baking pan.”

“My wife and I just installed three new air conditioners for our condo through Discount Mutual. I 100% recommend this business. They are flexible and made the whole process easy and painless. They helped us prep our condo for the arrival of our first child. I highly recommend the GE air conditioners as they have a built in dry mode and eco mode to keep your place cool and save on energy. Controlling the air conditioners from the app is super useful.”

“I initially gave a 1 star review because I had difficulty getting support for a fixture that did not work properly. Ferguson responded and I contacted them by email as directed. However, either by coincidence or as a result of the 1 star review, a replacement part was ordered and shipped via FedEx. After nearly 2-1/2 months, we have a working shower. Ah, the power of Yelp!”

He helped us from start to finish an put up with our loads of questions an us changing our minds a couple of times on exactly which ones we wanted to purchase. He even spent a good 10-15 minutes looking for the one we wanted in the back for us. Totally recommend this place for all your electronic needs an the deals were great.”

“Home Depot has became our Black Friday tradition. It started decades ago when I noticed the poinsettias were so cheap that I could afford to buy one for each relatives gravesite. I remember initially buying less than half a dozen, now we need 17. When the kids were born, I brought them along for Black Friday. Popo (grandma) at one point joined us. It has evolved into a family tradition. Popo has difficulty walking now so we sit her in a non-congested aisle. Then her grandchildren hunts for the best poinsettias and brings them to her. Popo selects 17 of the best ones. Afterwards, the "poinsettia hunters" is treated to breakfast. Popo will nurture these poinsettias until her "retired poinsettia hunters" returns home for their winter break. She looks forward to visiting all the graves with her entire family. We spend one day convoying from one graveyard to another, ending with another great meal as a family. We have no photos of this Black Friday tradition so we made a point of taking one. Later we noticed a Home Depot employee photo bombed us. How apropos. In the background Home Depot employees have made this tradition special for over two decades. Thank you Home Depot employees. Thank you for greeting us and making us feel welcomed. Thank you for being pleasant even when you're busy. Keep up the good job and your HUMOR. Happy Holidays.”
