Manoa Heritage Center offers a nice little tour off the beaten path in beautiful Manoa valley. The tour includes a heiau and plants, with a knowledgeable guide sharing anecdotes of old Hawaiiana. The tour is not busy and is a nice quick alternative to mainstream tours. Refreshing hibiscus tea is served. The area rains often, so an umbrella is recommended, and the space can get hot.

The Manoa Heritage Center is a great place to learn about and experience Hawaiian culture. With its antique buildings and well-maintained gardens, it is attractive in its own right.
