“I am moved by Kukui's sausages. The King Kong hotdog is the way to go. Smothered in cabbage, currywurst sauce, cheese, and a gigantic Portuguese sausage, this dog was nothing short of satisfying and substantial. I'm not gonna lie, I might've gotten emotional over how juicy and flavorful the wiener was. Took some good bites; I have a pretty big mouth but it was difficult for me to not get sauce all over my face. The tangy kimchi sausage was not my favorite and I realize now that pairing it with the salsa on top might've been sour overload. But still a unique and tasty sausage for those who want to try something different. You can find this place at the KCC Farmer's Market every Saturday morning. :) There's a long line but it moves fast and you will be gobbling down that sausage in no time!”
“From the phone call customer service was excellent, spoke to Michelle. Indicated I've always wanted to try them but my timing wasn't always great, reached busy signals etc. Since I wasn't sure how much to buy indicated at least 20 people so purchased accordinglysol. Verified my order the day prior for pick up and everything was good to go! Found the place with instructions and I also used Google maps. Upon entrance the place already had a good vibe, since it was my first time. You wouldn't know they sold Ham until you looked behind the counter/cashier, lots of good distraction of knick knacks, small snack items and the rest of the employees were just as friendly and inviting. Did order the ham sandwiches, which for today the others that I wanted to try was not available with all the Ham order pickup for Easter. Told them no worries was planning on returning to try the other popular items later. I live on the Westside and traffic on the weekend heading on the Eastside is not fun for a Kapuna but I did it! Good music and AC!! LOL..”
“Just tried the chicken broth (5 mins ago). I was startled. Taste fresh, homemade. Startled because been drinking a natl brand (that has a K and an F in the name)..that in comparison seems dull, packaged,...but it is less expensive and is easy to store (at room temp) for times you run out of Forage broth (which needs to be frozen for storage..prob a good sign).”

“Wholesale prices. But must buy in bulk. For example, must buy shrimp by the 4 lb bag or whole rib roast(7 bone)instead of the usual 4 bone at Costco or the grocery store. There is No showroom where you can go in and browse. You tell the man in front and he goes into the freezer and gets your order. M-F only and only CASH accepted.”
“Food is delicious , prices are reasonable , employees are very friendly & fun to talk to but for me its the place I go if I need to cater a party, I always order the large pans especially the mix sushi platter, noodles & kalbi ribs”
