Patagonia Honolulu is a surf and outdoor store located in the Kaka'ako area, just minutes from Waikiki, downtown, Ala Moana Beach Park, and famous surf spots. The warehouse-like store has gotten wider and is now about three times its previous size, offering a great variety of products for Patagonia fans. It is nicely stocked with FCD surfboards, Patagonia wetsuits, board shorts, logo T-shirts and caps, bathing suits, Pataloha, sportswear, and gear for island living and travel. They also carry a lot of children's clothes and have sale items. The staff provides friendly and knowledgeable customer service, sharing local knowledge about outdoor activities and city offerings. They are also known to share the store's environmental efforts to help preserve the island’s ecosystem. The store has a lovely place towards the back where customers can sit and read books from the shelves, and fliers for local activities and businesses are available. While some Hawaii-only items like a specific tote bag or seed balls can be sold out, the overall experience is welcoming. The store is about a 15-minute walk from the Ala Moana Shopping Center.
