Where is the Aloha spirit? Not here. I was treated poorly by front desk staff. I was called in my room late at night and told by staff ‘you need to move your vehicle because you are double parked and we will double charge you.’I was certain I did not double park but I got up to go look. With the front desk staff (same one who checked me in) we inspected and I called out that I was in between the lines/stall and I was not double parked. Staff changed story ‘we are sold out please move your vehicle over so we can squeeze another vehicle in here, you can park outside the lines.’ This was not my problem and the staffs solution was disturb me/family with a lie and threat of double charge. I’m still appalled. We were so jet lagged and our first night in Oahu.TL;DR staff are shady and will disturb you while sleeping and threaten to double charge for parking (when you are parked correctly) in order to fit/cram another vehicle.

It's okay. I didn't have any hand soap in the bed room... weird. But room is clean and comfy, no extra fees!

I haven't stayed yet but I had to cancel due to work. Although they did get a little frustrated due to incorrect booking, whether it was my fault or not, they ended up waiving the fees. For this I will be staying when I go back.

I found the room to be acceptable considering the price point. Not fancy but clean enough. Checking in, the front desk staff was competent but spoke very fast making it difficult to understand them. The building is a bit down-at-the-heels but the location is outstanding. Sadly, the noise level from the street is quite amazing. Between the street noise and the noisy air conditioner you will wear ear plugs anytime you wish to sleep.I can overlook a lot of shortcomings in hotel accommodations but I cannot overlook theft. During our stay we lost over $200 in clothes (some brand new with price tags still on) and electronics.Lock your suitcase if you are not in the room! And don't expect management to even return a phone call about it.STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

Great place for the price. The rooms were very clean, can’t complain at all. The rooms were a little dated, but didn’t mind because we weren’t there much due to touring Waikiki/Honolulu. Not a far walk to the beach and shopping. No issues getting transportation such as Ubers or Taxis. We would definitely stay there again.Rooms: Extremely clean rooms!Walkability: Close to beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Excellent customer service. Pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms had microwave, frig and safe. Location was great, short walk to the trolleys and the Hawaiian village, price was right too. Enjoyed our stay.

Great quiet place with very very helpful, pleasant, happy staff. Would venture back here in a heartbeat if ever I came back to Waikiki. Reasonably close to most things if you don’t mind a walk but the bus is right outside the door. .

Great location across from the Hilton. Room decor a little dated but very clean and comfortable. No breakfast but there are restaurants next door. Paid parking $23 per night in their lot or their overflow lot. Parking attendant will help you. Everyone was very nice.

The managers Johnny and Bo. They were fantastic. There was an error with my booking and they made it right. I was in Hawaii for a convention and this hotel is centrally located and has easy access to everything you might want to do. The hotel was a perfect for what we needed and if you can get a balcony I would recommend it.

This place is disgusting and poor conditioned. It's really hot in the hallways and there is no air conditioner. The lobby is nice but aside from that, the room matters. We had ourselves an extra visitor crawling the walls out of nowhere and we had to execute it. It was a massive roach climbing the walls. Thankfully room service dealt with that and threw it away. Aside from allat, it's a good hotel Ig

We decided to take a vacation but we decided on the latter side. I usually book our vacations at least 2 months in advance, but in this case, it was about a month in advance. We were looking for something a little cheaper since we wanted to spend more on food and shopping. When booking, I made sure that I compared hotels based on their pricing and also based on how close the hotel is to the beach and food. Unfortunately, the closer hotels were significantly more since I did book closer to our vacation date. But one thing I liked about this hotel was that there was no Resort Fee. That's one thing about hotels in Hawaii: the Resort Fee is not included in the nightly fee. Another reason we booked this hotel was because the parking fee was a lot cheaper compared to the other hotels. The parking lot for the hotel is really small. If I can remember correctly, there were only 20-25 spaces but they do have an overflow lot. Luckily for us, we were always able to find a parking spot so we never had to park in the overflow lot. One thing about their parking spaces is that they're really small! There have been some larger cars that would actually park so close to the line, and there were even some larger cars that would park OVER the line so this causes other travellers to have a hard time parking. In some cases, these larger cars were taking up 2 spots when it was unnecessary. We really encourage the hotel to enforce a rule about parking, especially for larger vehicles. The service at the hotel was wonderful! The front desk was so nice all the time and very helpful when we would go up to them with questions. That's one thing I really admired about the hotel: the service! When we checked in, the rep was even able to sign me up for the Wyndham rewards program (which is free). I think he spelled part of my name wrong and I still actually haven't received any points for my stay, but I'll probably reach out to them via Customer Service. One unfortunate thing about the time we stayed was that select floors were actually having the A/C units replaced. The first day we were there, there was a lot of noise like drilling and hammering. Another downside to this was that they had 2 large construction dumpsters that took up a lot of the parking spots. I feel like it took up at least 5-6 parking spots. Before I booked, I wish I had known there would be work going on. I booked through Expedia so I'm not completely surprised that they put us on one of the floors where there was work happening. The inside of the room was a little older and the bathroom was a little small. There were definitely issues with our bathroom, but I didn't feel like complaining since we were spending most of our time out during the day anyways. One issue was the toilet. It would never stop filling up with water! And the refilling sound was pretty loud that we could hear it when we're not even inside the bathroom. It was actually so loud that we would close the bathroom door. I took the lid off the tank and the plug (that closes so the tank can fill with water) needs to be replaced. The plug is too small for the hole, so that causes the water to leak into the toilet, thus the tank never being able to fill up. Another issue was the bathtub. Usually on vacation after a lot of walking around, I like to soak my feet in hot water (usually in the bathtub). When I flipped the trip lever to close the drain, the water just kept draining. I'm not sure if the hotel does this on purpose to conserve water, but it was just an inconvenience for me.Overall, our stay was okay. It was pretty far from Waikiki (20-25min walk) and there weren't very many food places around the hotel that we were interested in. I feel like if you wanted to say in Honolulu but are planning on being out and about all day, then this hotel may be more for you. You'll save a lot of money on hotel parking and will not have to pay a resort fee.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. They double charged us for the rooms and have refused to assist in giving us our money back... we booked for 2 nights for one room with 2 queen beds. Mother in law decided to book a separate room so they downgraded us to a room with only one queen bed (no refund given). They charged us full overnight price for early check in, but only charged mother in law $80 for the same early check in. Additionally, they pre-authorised the full amount off the Visa debit card ($791.11 AUD plus an additional $223 AUD security deposit), then at checkout, proceeded to double charge us for the full amount again ($791.11 AUD), but the original amounts were still sitting in authorisation. When queried, they advised there's nothing they can do to release the funds. I contacted our bank who said the hotel has to simply write a quick email advising the funds are to be released, and the hotel staff utterly refused to do so. This definitely affected our holiday as we've been unable to access $1000 of our own money. To date, we've STILL not had the funds released and it's been a month since we stayed there. Disgraceful customer service. On top of the above issues, the rooms were dirty and dusty, the fridge in our room did not work, the air conditioner was dusty and made the room smell mouldy, the water pressure was pitiful and there were lice or bugs in one of the beds. This hotel is clearly in need of a good clean and a course in customer service relations.
