If you love your vintage purses, especially if they have sentimental value PLEASE DO NOT bring it here:( Brought in my passed on vintage LV Cloud to get prettied up(straps stained and cleaned) instead I picked up a freaking disaster. I'm absolutely broken up since there is no way to recover from the paint that is sloppily on my threading. I understand this process my be hard and tedious but if it would alter the look of my bag is such a noticeable way, I WANT to be the one to make that decision. Did I get a call to let me know what was going on? NO!!!!! I had to call them after 2 weeks of having my bag in their care, to check on the status. I'm in tears because it's not just a purse but who it was given by, for it to just be handle so unprofessional and careless. I am at a loss for words.

Wow! I brought in my Badgley Mishkas after my wedding - satin with mud stains - I was really assuming it would not clean! Even upon dropping them off they said - there's no guarantee :( BUT I just picked them up and they look brand new! I would highly recommend them to anyone. They also clean jackets, belts and bags - I'm so impressed!

I come in regularly for small strap, rubber shoe repairs for it is near by my job. Owner is very nice, usually takes a week or so to fix even small repairs but when it does come time to pick up the shoe, the work is done well, and for a fair price.

I've been calling at least 5 times a day for a couple of days now and they have never answered their phone. Their business hours say they are open and I only calm duding normal business hours (it's not a holiday either). They have no answering machine, so it can easily ring for 5 minutes if you don't hang up. What kind of business doesn't answer any phone calls? It's a fair distance from where I live & I have an infant, so it's very inconvenient for me to drive 45 minutes just to ask a simple question. Poor service. Very disappointed; was looking forward to using them.

These ladies did a great job on two pairs of shoes I recently brought in.....gym shoes and some old golf shoes which were re-dyed and refinished by them. Good quick turnaround of 2 days and I'm more than happy with their service. They have gotten a bad rap but considering when I was in there and seeing how the lady customer in front of me was condescending and demanding while dropping off her shoes (she basically cut me off while I opened the door for her)....I can't blame them. People these days .....geez! Yuri took the "attitude" in stride and was most professional about it. I'll use them again and have told my friends about this place. Thank you Yuri! Hope you enjoyed the Butterfish!

I want to start with the good because there is SOME good in this business with terrible service and shady business practices. The good: Jamie is an absolute angel. Once she realized the mix up ,she was polite , apologetic and gave me a coupon for a free cleaning. She even hugged me ! Short version: this place is an absolute nightmare. Long version : I took a broken Marc Jacobs bag to McCully Shoe Repair and wanted a second opinion because I was hoping for a specific repair. I took my bag to Shoe Spa, about a mile down the road. I was told by the woman at the counter that the repair person would take a look, quote a price and call me by 2 the next day. This was fine, but she didn't give me any type of ticket, receipt or information about their policies. I started to walk out then asked for a receipt for when I return to get the repaired purse. I am so glad I did. I attached a photo of my receipt because it was so odd. The name of the business was NOT on it and all she wrote was my name, phone and thankfully the designer and color of my purse. No date, no info about policies, etc. She told me they would call me with a quote and it would likely be ready at 2pm the following day. Around 330 the next day , I called and they said they didn't have my purse. The woman on the phone was not very clear about this and could not tell me where the bag was, but she said to call back the next day. I called and they still didn't have my bag. I started to worry that it was lost or stolen . After several calls over 3 hours, I was told it was at McCully shoe repair. The same place I had gone 3 days earlier, 15 minutes before walking into Shoe Spa. I was told by woman on the phone at Shoe spa that I could get my purse directly from McCully shoe repair . She also told me McCully had tried calling me several times and I never answered. I had no missed calls or voice mails. I called 3 times and got no answer before driving there to find it was locked, lights out 2 hours before closing. I called Shoe Spa again and finally got a call back from a male manager he was extremely rude and abusive. Another review (Sonia S. Described similar phone call) 1. Told me I was lying when I said I had no missed calls 2. Interrupted me and belittled me every time I tried to ask a question 3. Threatened me , saying if I try to file a police report it won't matter because he knows the chief of police & DA. 4. He told me never to come into his store again. 5. He did not answer any of my questions, most importantly "how can I get my purse back?" I must admit I also got a bit elevated, but that was after hours of tracking him down and then not getting any answers. I was frustrated that the purse was sent back to a place I had already been - who had quoted me a 15 min timeframe. He kept saying "how should we know you were there ?" Of course he couldn't know , but I was never provided with info to make an informed decision. He also forbade me from going to McCully myself to get my bag. When trying to negotiate a time, he acted as though he was trying to catch me in a lie. When I said I was leaving town the next day he said "I thought you said you had to work. " Yes, both are true. The next day I arrived at 10, as agreed, and my purse wasn't there! I really started to suspect it was stolen. Jamie tried giving me another purse that wasn't mine (also pictured), insisting it was mine. It turns out they confused me with someone else . Apparently a different woman had been called several times and I wasn't the big liar. Ha ha, what a joke! The manager thought he was verbally abusing a different "problem" customer willing to pay for a quality service. Just hilarious! I drove back to McCully where my purse was still broken. He fixed it in about 15 minutes , after I had waited 4 days. Jamie was nice and offered a free cleaning. Initially, I wasconcerned with the possibility of dealing wit

Thought I'd try a new shoe repair place. Dropped off shoes and asked how much the repair would be. The individual working did not know for sure but quoted me something pretty high. I said I didn't want to pay more than a specific amount. Also I wasn't given a "ready for pick up date" I did not receive a call to tell me my shoes were ready. I just dropped by after 5 days to see if my shoes were were ready. When I paid, they DID NOT ring up my transaction but used a calculator to compute the total and then gave me no receipt. work done was ok, but will go to my other shoe place from now
