At first, I had a great experience trading in my iPhone. I paid off the remaining balance, got a credit for my old phone and knew about the activation charges for each device that would be on my next bill. The guy opened up my iPhone and started setting it up. Then, as I was leaving, they changed me an in-store charge of $175.
The guy said it was a special charge for this location since they’re not an actual “Verizon” store. What the hell?! You didn’t tell me this when I confirmed everything that I would be paying—and I asked many times. Apparently there is a charge for each device setup (even the “free” iPad). This store completely took advantage of me, LIED, and then charged me $175 for nothing. They didn’t even ask if I wanted to do the transfer myself, which I always do anyway. Absolutely ridiculous and I don’t recommend ANYONE going to this store.

Abella at Keahole store in Hawaii Kai was awesome! Great customer service, very knowledgeable and efficient. I’ve had good experiences at this store and will definitely return to Keahole store in the future. Mahalo!

Junk Motorola phone. Going to T-Mobile. Losing money on this will be a gain in the long run.

Kainoa is a rare example of good customer service at carrier stores. He could not have been more helpful with the issues that I presented to him. I've had bad experiences with Verizons around the island in the past, so I'm happy that the one closest to me has great service.

Store employee, Young K., legitimately scammed me by putting a screen protector *and* lens protector on my phone without my consent and charged me for both, amounting to $60 worth of accessories I was scammed into buying. When exchanging my old phone for my new phone, he reported my old phone screen as cracked when it most definitely was lightly scratched at best. I have called multiple times and am still waiting to receive an answer. I am demanding a refund. It's unacceptable to scam your customers, I'm also reporting this on BBB and to Verizon.Furthermore, there's really weird wording about your data privacy with this Victra (verizon franchise) store. Young also called and asked me for my passcode while I was out of the store shopping for groceries, which made me nervous about my personal information and pictures being viewed or saved. If I were you I would just go to a normal verizon non-franchise because this was the weirdest, longest, most annoying experience I have ever had getting a new phone. I wish I had asked for the receipt before paying because to know they scammed me once I got home from a long day at work and then dealing with them for 4+ hours was ****infuriating*****.
