“I bought my first KaiWahine design in Hilo, Hawaii. I loved your racer tanks and tops so much that I found you on line and ordered 2 more. Great quality and I like that you can add or not the Hawaiian location.”
“Great little store. If walking around it’s a little harder to find as there’s no direct pedestrian access. It’s safe to use the car access way however. Once inside it’s a wonderful store. Locally made clothing and friendly service. Well worth the time to get too.”
“Anytime I am in Honolulu, I make it a point to stop in to pick up some new shirts. The customer service here 100/100. Honestly, the owner and their friends are the most amazing, friendliest people ever.”
“Family owned. If you want a better deal on some of the tourist gifts that you see in some of the shops on the strips at those prices then I would take a look. Mention us I believe they will remember us we went twice. I would go before 4:30”
“I was ‘ono' for a Ruscello's Burger and enjoyed the Burger and all the accompaniments very much! Service was great! Mandy was my server and she provided the great service! Also, Raven seated me and was welcoming which I appreciated! Looking forward to my next visit to Ruscello ...”
“My wife and I came in at 8:30 right before close with some fast food and the staff was super nice and gave us a place to put down our food while we looked around. I ended up getting a new automatic movement dive watch with a blue dial that looks great, I was really impressed with the quality, I am a big fan and owner of several Swiss options (rolex, tudor, omega), and was very impressed. My wife got a fanny pack that looks and functions great. We were helped by Jacqueline (Jackie) who was very informative and extremely nice.”
“I was helped out by the sales associates at Avanti Shirts. They were super helpful in helping me choose my first Aloha shirt. I will absolutely be back on my next visit!”
“It was on the 2nd and 3rd floor.
A weak yen? Strong yen?
It's two to three times the price.
I have to look closely!
Is this also true in Japan?
Huh? this is? Hawaii original?”
“They have great selection but on anime stuff sells lots they should be aware of offering more and looking at what sizes sell the fastest? To keep it in stock? New trends always come and go”
“The best! We attended a traditional Hawaiian clothing seminar on a cruise given by a local, so we knew what we wanted. The store manager was incredibly helpful, and the quality and variety were amazing. This is a store where locals shop. It is a family business and not a tourist trap. We feel fortunate we found it.”
“I came into the store for the first time like two weeks ago (I think), and had a very pleasant time. I was greeted by Isaiah whom was really welcoming, nice, informative, thoughtful, and patient with me while I was browsing. I felt like I was being respected regardless of purchasing or not (which I really like and appreciate!:)))
Fast forward to a couple of days later, I met the other team members (Boss Lee, Kalif, and Elijah) who were all so nice and helpful. After many revisits, we’re more than just team members and customer now; it feels like a big family instead (yayy!><). The aloha spirit I get from them is really heartwarming.
Big shout out to you guys! Hope to be back one day in the future & buy more things;)
(Edit: shout out to the other two Japanese team members as well and Kevin!^-^)”
“Some hidden gems with great prices but you have to sort through the items sometimes. Quite a bit of designer gear. There's a Nordstrom rack in the heart of Waikiki and another one about a 15 min walk from Ala Moana shopping centre. We found the one near the ala Moana shopping centre had more stock but the Waikiki one is still excellent”
“I love this brand! What it stands for and the quality of the products are terrific! I have been extremely happy with each shirt, tank top and outerwear that I have purchased. I especially like the most recent Kekoa Collective shirt I just received. Mahalo Kekoa Collective for the great products you make with Aloha! Keep them coming!”

“We visited on Easter Sunday and as soon as we entered we were greeted by 2 sales people. They were helpful and informed us of the sale that day. The store is smaller than we are use to but we did find what we wanted and with the 30% off it was a good price.”
“Good affordable t-shirts for any activity needs... Aunty recommends that you call before going to the shop as hours may have changed... located near Costco Iwilei... owner is very kind and helpful... she sells dry fit blank shirts too depending on your needs!”
“so i'm on vacation here currently and wanted to quickly run into anthropologie because i was getting ready for dinner and had an absolute fashion emergency. as i walked into the store, i was greeted by a woman who i believe is named shelby? something like that, and she immediately made me feel like i was not welcomed in the space. i shopped around, found an ADORABLE dress and went to the fitting room, where i was greeted by brooklyn. i know thats her name for sure. she was amazing, attentive, made me feel beautiful and valued and appreciated. my experience started off rocky with my interaction with shelby but it ended with a purchase of a new dress and a friendly face. keep up the good work brooklyn, definitely coming back and saying hi when i return to the islands! these five stars are you!”
“This is a popular department store that operates all over the United States and is also popular among locals.
The essential thing to do when shopping here is to first obtain an International Savings Card, and if you show it at the time of checkout, you will receive a 10% discount.
There are some excluded items such as cosmetics, but even on sale items, you can receive an additional 10% discount after the ○○% discount.
The place to receive the coupon is at the cashier counter near the bath supplies section of the linen section on the 3rd floor.
Tourists are asked to show their hotel key or passport to confirm their identity, but Japanese people never forget to show their face pass.
Especially if you're looking for clothing regardless of brand (everyday wear, loungewear, etc.), it's much cheaper than the street stores at Ala Moana Center.
You can find items that fit not only baby and children's clothes, but even adults if you go to the American size high school student section.
A popular nationwide department store also favored by locals.
When shopping here, it's essential for overseas tourists to first obtain an International Savings Card. Showing this card at the checkout will give you a 10% discount. Although some items such as cosmetics are excluded, you can still get an additional 10% off sale items after the initial discount.
You can pick up the coupon at the checkout counter near the bath products section in the lingerie department on the third floor. For tourist verification, you may be asked to show a hotel key or passport, although sometimes Japanese tourists can get a pass just by looking.
If you're looking for clothing without a particular brand (such as casual or loungewear), this is much more affordable than the street-level stores at Ala Moana Center.”
“If you are into pop culture anime or video games, this is your place to waste money on cool things. If you like looking at unique merchandise this is a great place to visit that's kid friendly.
If you are walking around Ala Moana stop in for a visit. You will probably see something that you don't need but you want to buy it anyway.”
“Excellent service is always provided. Servers are always very pleasant and very accommodating. My favorite is the salmon ochazuke. But I also enjoy the wagyu burger with fries and pork chops.”
“Been going to this shop for years bc their products truly stand the test of time and wear. Bands don't loosen and colours don't fade compared to any swimsuit I've bought elsewhere. Yes, it's a little more dear but you can also choose top and bottom of different size, colour and style. Money saved actually! They also have innovative designs of swimsuit, so not just bikinis. Cherie has been v helpful. Don't miss this independent shop on your next visit to Honolulu.”
“Bad Boy printing in Hawaii. Called and they could not make my order quick like I needed. They gave me another shop in town and poof they got me in and made my order in 35 min. Great to see these competitors work with each other to take care of the customer.”
“First honeymoon trip to Hawaii. As I was walking around Chinatown, a stylish shop suddenly appeared. Aloha shirts and miscellaneous goods with original designs were displayed along with the wonderful interior, creating a great atmosphere. I had been wanting an aloha shirt for a while, so I bought two on the spot. If I had more time, I would have liked to see it more slowly without having to worry about the trolley time. I would like to stop by again when I travel.”
“I stopped by when I was on a trip. I used to buy them a lot in Japan, but now that they've withdrawn from the store I can't buy them anymore, so I visit them whenever I'm nearby. If they don't have your size, they will order it for you right away, and they will serve you in a friendly manner, making it easy to shop. My son gave me a sticker with the logo on it, and while he was having fun putting it on himself and playing with it, he even called out to me.”
“All the workers at both stores were so kind and attentive. They helped me get all the men's and child shirts and women's tops we needed for our daughter's wedding. They called the other stores and held the item for me. I even had to exchange sizes, and they held my top for me. The next day, I was able to switch the tops. The process was seamless and easy.
I love Manuheali'i ❤️”
“Staff is cool, some of the collabs are really cool, the fabric on some of the clothes is not ideally wearable, breathable, etc. I wish they were more kid friendly as well on the prices. I paid $45 for a kids hat.”
“My love for Aloha Shirts is extra special in finding the source of the original Magnum p.i. wear. Just by chance I googled to find the labeling as "Paradise Found." There's a bit of trivial history. Tom Selleck wore various patterned shirts and now Jay Hernandez has them in the Magnum reboot series. I them was able to order on Amazon Prime! With my excitement, I ordered 3 shirts. Oops. According to the Pacific Clothing website, the sizing of the shirts run large. Canceled and recorded a size smaller. My ordered arrived in a couple of days via Amazon Prime. The original shirts were made in silk. Now they rayon, which is actually easier to launder. The fabric very smooth and the patten details are dyed beautifully. Mahalo, Paradise!”
“There is a great selection and style of clothes at Crazy Shirts. My wife and I bought 2 hoodies and 2 shirts. The prices are high(er) but the quality of their clothing is outstanding. The staff, specifically Cloud was awesome and her hospitality was exemplary!”
“I had stunning service from Claire. I would not have purchased my handbag if her service was not so kind and considerate. She pointed out many features and qualities of the bags I was looking at. This purchase was a special birthday treat for my 50th while on holiday and Claire was so considerate.
An excellent shopping experience.”
“Wonderful employee - kind and very helpful.
They have one my favorite brands - Johnny Was. They have designs that are not available at the Ala Moana store.”
