However, it is a typical non-major brand experience, with a shuttle ride from the airport separate from other companies. Some customers report a hard push to purchase additional insurance and note that vehicles can be mid-quality or even dirty, with the branch sometimes understaffed. While some had the best customer service and would return, others warn to be sure to take the correct van from the airport and would not rank it highly for future rentals.

First time travelers to Maui & glad we went with Fox. Shuttle from airport was smooth, check in was easy, prices were great, & Dustin went above and beyond to share & recommend areas, restaurants, highlights. Midsize SUV was clean & ready to go.

Unimpressed. Pushy staff. Car was mediocre wasn't what we reserved. Got (full coverage) insurance with reservation and was made to feel like it wasn't sufficient.
Had to pay extra for roadside assistance I.E. flat tires, dead batteries.......if we return definitely will look elsewhere.
