“I can't recommend Cruisin' Maui Rent-A-Car enough. The car we rented (a late model BMW convertible) was clean and pristine. The staff picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and were super friendly and efficient. Having rented from these guys several times, I'm never going back to the airport rentals in Maui. They're nicer, faster, cheaper than the big rental companies, their cars are well-maintained, and they're local.”

“We highly recommend this company. From the moment we were met at baggage claim by Ivan with a very nice vehicle until we were dropped off at the airport the service and personal touches were exceptional. The vehicle had ice cold bottles of water, a cooler full of fruit, a bag of Hawaiian cookies, guidebooks, snorkel gear, sand toys etc. and a bottle of Hawaiian wine to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We had booked a minivan but due to no fault of the company there wasn't 1 available, but we were given another large very nice vehicle. A few days later we received a text that a brand new minivan had just been delivered and we could exchange vehicles if we wanted. Unfortunately, while in Maui I broke my leg and with all the additional equipment I needed to get around we didn't have room in our vehicle to get back to the airport. Ivan drove another vehicle to the other side of the island to help transport all 7 of us with all our stuff to the airport. He took us directly to our airline and called a porter to assist us with our baggage check-in. Ivan was truly amazing and we enjoyed his company and his suggestions for our visit. This was our 1st experience booking with a local company and we had some trepidation, but I can say with complete honesty Don't hesitate! Book with Hawaiian Rent-A-Car and start enjoying your vacation from the moment you step out of baggage claim.”

“Check-in was easy. Did it online and was able to go straight to the cars. There were limited cars and they were all damaged. That's reason for 4 and not 5 stars. Otherwise, everything else was good. The staff was nice and drop-off was quick and easy.”

“Hey everyone…Maui Cruisers is the answer. It’s really as easy as it sounds. We did the online quote, received a reply, I chose to make a phone call to confirm and book. I texted my driver’s license and insurance card, along with credit card info (which isn’t charged until our day of arrival) It’s very satisfying to watch everyone else make the mad dash down to the big car rental companies while you stroll across to the parking lot and find your car in a minute or two. Even more convenient upon return. You drop it in the same location, but at the end of your trip it just makes getting to the terminal so much more convenient than the alternative. Our car was a Nissan, tons of room, clean with great a/c. Paul is a great guy to deal with. The whole experience was easy, straightforward, no hoops, no surprises or added extras. The price cannot be beat. We will rent from Maui Cruisers next year again. Thanks again Paul!”

“2/2023It's been a while since I used the Maui location, but National / Enterprise is always on it! Quick and painless if you're a member. ??✌️10/2023Great option. Join their frequent customer prigram and fly through. It's absolutely worth it. Consistent, quick, and friendly. Wish they had my car, a Toyota Camry, but still good selections to choose from. Nowadays, they will dissect the outside of your car. You should, too. Our company requires us to videotape the outside before leaving the facility. These days, lots of tourists don't seem to care much and can drive a little wreckless, especially in the islands. I've been a victim of fender vendors while parked in an obvious tourist zone. Protect yourself and keep your company as well as the insurance company happy. Just do it! Insider hints, Altimas are great on gas and roomy. Also, I tend to choose a car with good treads. Tends to have lower mileage, which also means not as abused as other cars, plus less likely to get a fkat, although, not impossible. ??✌️11/2023Great, quick, efficient, as usual. “Shaun and Pam are great people to work with.They had our rental ready and waiting for us, gave us beach chairs, and a cooler at no extra charge.The car was clean and well kept.It is a bit of a walk from the pathway off the Norwegian cruise ship...you have to walk all the way around. Or maybe you can catch a ride.If you're gonna have the car for more than one day...they have a code for the padlock and we never felt scared or in danger when walking around there at night.Shaun was kind enough to give us a ride back to the drop off area where Ann the busses and taxis go...much much shorter walking distance that way and if you try to walk through there...you'll either get turned away or scolded.”

Per Sean and Cece’s excellent advice and tips we booked our campsites at Kipahulu and Waianapanapa well in advance and had a fabulous time! We really loved this experience and it was our favorite way to explore and experience the beauty of the island. We were able to fit, so chose to sleep in the back of the vehicle one night due to constant fairly heavy rain one day.Would love to do this again! Mahalo Epic Camping!”

“We arrived on Maui for an extended stay and we couldn't have been happier with our long term car rental from Frank. The car was just as described and Frank was incredibly accommodating. Unfortunately, our stay ended much sooner than expected due to our area being closed as a result of the Lahaina fire. But Frank even made that stressful situation a little easier in how he handled our car return and even personally took us to the airport. We will only choose Frank's for future car rentals on Maui!”

It was important to us to try to support and on-island business and we were rewarded with a seamless, friendly and professional service. They came so promptly after we grabbed our bags and the gal at the check in was so lovely and proficient. The car was exactly what we expected, hassle free and the total bill was far less than we have paid on past trips. Return was seamless, again the employee that drove us to the airport (it's maybe 5 minutes) was so kind. We will always rent from them now, plus they have what might be the cutest office cat ever -- see you next year, Ace and the Aloha O'hana.”

“Gone are the days of lining up and taking the corporate buses to the rental car locations on the outer perimeter of the airport; now just cross the street to the tram and be transported to the car rental center (you can walk if that's your thing, too). Preferred members can go downstairs to pick up your car, otherwise you can use the upper floor counter service. Exiting the airport is pretty easy and fast now, though returning your car requires you cross a number of lanes to your left to reach the lower level entrance of the rental car garage, located just before the departure side of the terminal.”

The panel bags conveniently come with the car to keep them protected. It was so easy! “My 2nd use of this Maui rental company and another great experience.I waited a month before posting this review because I wanted to make sure there would be no late, extra charges or surprises - and there were none.We had an upgraded vehicle for 8 days (10/29/23-11/6/23) and the total cost was only $218.37 plus the gas we put into it.We asked for a mid-sized car and received an almost new, Ford Escape. We had to ask about the features and they kindly showed us the ins and outs of the vehicle.Again, a great experience.”

“Our experience with Allsave car rental was nothing but great! We did have to wait a while for assistance due to most of us there just got off the same flight. Only one attendant at first and then a second one showed up to help. Even though we had already pre registered for a car online, there was more paperwork to fill out which was a bit different than other car rentals. I really liked having the option of paying a prepaid price for gas to lock us in a great price and then we didn’t have to worry about filling the car up before returning. This won’t always be a good option for others, all depends on how much you plan on using it and how many miles you put on. Our attendant Dustin was awesome!Karl and Carleen”

I was having a great time and called the next day for an extension, it was processed within minutes! The drop off was seem less too. 10 mins from OGG Airport, this will be my go to spot in Maui.”
