Came in to get an upgrade and the wait was relatively short until I was helped.However the lady that helped me only did half of her job and sent me on my way to finish the rest. She didn’t have the patience for my old phone to transfer all the data to my new phone as it estimated about an hour. So she told me to completely reset my old phone back to factory settings THEN to reset my new phone’s cellar settings and then everything will work. Boy was she wrong! My new phone still had no cellular data as she didn’t activate the Esim! I live in Kihei and didn’t want to make the drive back. So I went to Verizon in Kihei for them to finish her job and solve the problem.On top of that, I had to return to Verizon in Kahului later in the week when I was in the area and had time to hand over my old phone for store credit. All of this could have been done in one day, in one trip, if that woman just had the patience to wait to finish what she started.I am highly disappointed in the service I have received but, I am happy that everything was solved and that I got my upgrade. It was just a journey and a half to get here.

Only reason this is getting 4 stars is because Volter did an amazing job with providing us excellent service! I came in to trade my phone in for the newest iPhone and there was quite a wait.. Volter seemed like the only associate greeting the customers coming in, idk if it was his designated task to be the greeter but everyone else did not seem as friendly. When it was time for us to be serviced, I was so happy to have Volter. He was so personable and was very efficient. I was wondering why it took so long because we got out of there so quick, the other associates didn't even finish with the customers from when we walked in. Volter is the definition of excellent customer service!

My first bad experience started when I traded in my old phone. I was told I would be getting about $900 for it, but I was not told that the $900 would be credited to my account monthly, in $20 increments. With that, I was trapped in a two-year contract. My monthly bills were inconsistent, and no one could explain why. Finally, I was able to get out of the contract, and a few weeks after I closed the account, I was still charged $12.47 on my bank account. On my first phone call, the lady was very helpful and said that the money would be credited back to my account as it was a mistake. Weeks later, I called again as there was no money received. That person told me to go into the store where I bought the phone because they would refund me the money. That was wrong. The salespeople were very nice and tried to help me, but I had no luck. I was told that I needed to go to the main store near Target in Kahului, so I did. I waited more than an hour for my turn, and I was assured by the manager that the money would be credited to my bank account. Three weeks passed, and there is still no money today Dec. 28. I know $12.47 is not much, but Verizon had no right to deduct it from my bank account, and no one can reverse the charge. I would never deal with them if I were you, EVER!

went into the Kahului Verizon store to buy an I-phone 15...talked to the guy who checks you in told i was next there was 1 person ahead of me , waited 15min another guy walks in looks around and takes a seat not to far from me ..the agent goes over to him and i can hear the conversation he is asking to buy the cheapest phone and it wont take but a minute the agent explains that he still has to put him in the system takes his info and leaves..5min later I'm still waiting when the another employees walks up to the guy who just walked in and starts helping him the agent tells me again I am next....I tell him that this guy just walked in and is being helped that is not the way it works..he tries to lie and tell me the guy was the 3rd customer in that morning they open at 9am its 1130am now so he was in at 915am and can take the place of a person who walks in 2.5 hours later if he decides to show up...they could have cared less about my concern that this is NO WAY to run customer service ...I wanted to spend $1500 on a phone instead I bought it online for less and sadly my money did not stay on island to help anyone here....VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! The Manager was a total tool box and gave such attitude like bad customer service is OK!!!

Had to send my Z Fold 4 for repair so I walked into this place to buy a cheap Android phone to tie me over.The African American kid with dreadlocks looked miserable to be there and his customer service skills were non existent.When I asked him to transfer some data (mostly just contacts and couple of folders with files) he told me the phone I just bought doesn't have enough space. OK... I guess 32Gb is wasn't enough for for 500Kb worth of data.Not only that, he let me leave without registering the phone on the Verizon's network so few days later when I actually needed to use it, it wouldn't work and I had to return (Kihei store this time) to have it setup.Please train your associates better Verizon.

Over charged for iPhone 14 Plus on July 7th at this location. Called Verizon customer service. On hold for over an hour to speak to someone in India. He could not understand my explanation of the miscalculation of my charge. After another half hour he said he would refund $37.49 excess charges. Never happened. It’s really difficult to do the math went new phone and old phone are busy communicating. The Verizon representative refigured my invoice three times and still got it wrong.Take note that the unlimited Plus charge has an extra $10 slapped on it if you go paperless with an American Express card instead of Visa or MasterCard

I recently went to verizon to see if they could help with a shattered screen saver. As soon as i walked in - the ‘greeter’(?, not sure what their title is) was checking in another customer, but he let me know he saw me and would be right with me. He then proceeded to check in 2 other customers while I waited. It was busy. I didn’t mind the unknown wait because i knew by his attitude that I would be taken care of. His good energy and multitasking was so impressive. My screensaver was promptly worked on and i left feeling good by the great customer service. I learned he is a newish manager there. I worked in customer service for 32 years for an international company that focused on excellent customer service. I get so sick of the bad service we get nowadays in America. The only thing I regret is that I didn’t get the name of the agent who helped me with my phone as she was outstanding, too, so that I could put in a thumbs up for her. I used to dislike going to this place - now I think it stands above the rest for excellent customer care.

I would never go back to Verizon because it was a very bad experience every time I was on the phone with them they would try to sell me a new phoneThe other thing they did was they were always trying to raise my bill and make more money off of it was truly aggravatingI would never go back there for a phone again and they're always sending me offers in the mail but I am not interested I use T-Mobile and Sprint I'm very happy with them

Went into this Verizon location on March 17, 2023. Ryan, the floor manager, was excellent at his job. He was quick to greet everyone, genuinely pleasant, and highly knowledgeable.I needed to modify my service plan. Note: this is something I can do on the Verizon app, but I couldn’t figure it out. Ryan assisted me earnestly and tailored my plan better than I knew was possible.I just want to acknowledge a good person doing good work. Mahalo, Ryan.

I went to this store today 3/1/23 and I pulled into the curbside Verizon parking. And Greg the worker came out told him I'm not picking up I came to pay my bill. Due to most of the handicap parking was full. And the other stalls are far. It took me only 2 minutes to pay my bill. And I was done. So I asked for a manager and they said it's Sarah up front . I spoke with her and explained to her it only took me two minutes to pay my bill and the curb side stalls are still open. All she could say was we would appreciate it if you park elsewhere. Incase we do have curb side customers. No apologies nothing just a face like what are you talking about. Asked who can I complain to she replied just dial star 611. All Greg had to do was say no problem. I'll stand here and wait if their will be any curb side customers. What's two minutes please that two minutes they were laughing because I said that's f***** up!!'!!!!'

Your staff are like verbal masseurs - friendly, soft spoken, understanding, patient, and connected. Unfortunately it appears to be in the interest of both Verizon and T-mobile to spend hours on the phone with customers and somehow pleasantly not provide adequate assistance or resolve the problem. The companies must be making money on the float . It's akin to kiting checks but they shamelessly consume your life's time and it's reprehensible. They have you over a barrel because it's difficult to live in the modern world without a phone . SHAME.
