“craftsman did a good job restoring my car, damaged by a truck that backed into the driver side front. the paint is nicely matched (you have to look very closely to notice a difference in non repaired and repaired) and they completed the work within the week promised. this is the second car estimated by kraftsman and the first repaired. they are my first choice in body shop. estimator don is superb and the company is quite professional. 5 stars out of 5 from me.”

“This review is over due. My apology to Ted and the staff. This is actually a 2 part review. The first part is for Rag's German Auto. The 2nd part is for the Mercedes-Benz Kona Svc. Ctr. staff and Paulette. On my older 2003 E320 sedan, I had problems with the SBC module for the brakes. Turns out that after checking out the car, Ted said there might be an extended warranty on it by MB. Turns out there was. Ted referred me over the Paulette at the MB Svc. Ctr. Ted treated me fairly and worked other issues. He told me that he could do the repairs but the car was still covered by extended warranty by MB. He then moved my car over to worked on by Paulette and her staff. End of part 1. I recommend Rag's and would not hesitate for them to work on my Mercedes Benz.”

“Came in to I.P.O. a few weeks after putting new terrain tires on my 2021 4Runner, to get a 2" lift kit. After their installation, I noticed what seemed to be a new, very slight vibration in my frame and steering wheel. Thought it was from the lift kit they installed (turns out it wasn't). Jeff offered to check it out, and he did. A couple hours after dropping it off, it was ready to pick up. So, what was I problem, I asked. The front tires were out of balance, he discovered, and he rebalanced them all FOR FREE! Without my even asking! And wouldn't even accept cash on the counter. These guys are real professionals, when they step "outside of the box" to troubleshoot and get things fixed. I'll be back there anytime I have a 4WD or suspension issue!! Total trust.”

“These guys did an amazing job. I have a first generation Tacoma that had a broken motor mount frame. It required a custom fix - they had to fabricate a plate with bolt holes and weld it on. Multiple welders/mechanics had already turn me down for the job because it looked too hard. Mike got this thing done in 3 hours! Solid job. “I'm on a sloping drive entering a parking lot. My car loses power suddenly and I get weird notices flashing in a row on my computer display. I shove on the parking break, turn off the engine and wonder, "What the heck? I just bought this used car a year ago from Orchid Isle Dealership." I turn the key and the engine turns on but the weird notices flash by. I pull into the nearest space and wander over to a mechanic shop who says he's booked but there's a great auto shop, Impact Auto, just down the street. I call and even though they close at 5pm and it's 4:30, sure I can try to get my bizarrely behaving car down to them and they will help me. I get there, notices flashing. I'm met by Ruby and Shan who kindly reassure me that they will help. They diagnose that my battery is dying, that's it's a model too small for the car in the first place and within 30 minutes they have the correct battery in their shop and installed in my car. They test it out and hand me back my keys. They are warm, friendly, honest and forthright. They do not make me feel the least bit bad because I've showed up at closing time. Their daughter is with them in the office and they still don't make me feel like I'm imposing. They just want to help and they are so warm and hospitable that I feel like I've been rescued by angels! I'm a customer for life now and I highly recommend them.Update: My other car, 2012 Mini-Cooper, flashed warnings saying my brake pads were worn to the minimum and needed to be replaced. Of course, I immediately made an appointment with Impact Auto. They ordered brake pads for front and back. On the day of my appointment, they were ready to go. After a coffee at nearby Pink Mocha Cafe, I receive a call from Ruby: “We’ve inspected every brake pad. They’re at 100%. Your car’s computer is malfunctioning, a problem that can only be remedied by BMW/Mini. We’ve printed out the necessary info so you can hand it to them without having to explain anything. We’re not charging you anything because we didn’t do any work.” I was gobstopped. The level of integrity Shan and Ruby display is outstanding. They could’ve replaced all my brake pads AND told me the computer was malfunctioning and I would have been none the wiser. At the least, they could have charged me for inspecting the car and discovering the real problem. I told Ruby this and thanked her for her superb customer service and honesty. She said, “My husband loves working on cars. We are not about trying to make as much money as we can. We are about being happy in our lives and being good to our customers. We would never be dishonest, it’s not who we are.”Services: A/C installation & repair”
“Tomas Hunt in Kona set up a test drive for a Suburu Forester we wanted with Jovee Rivera on Hilo side. Jovee was very helpful and showed us, very patiently, all the features of the car. We went for the test drive where both my husband and I drove it. Returning to the dealership, we decided to purchase the car and went in to talk with Jonathan (sorry didn’t get last name) in finance. This went very easy as we were not going to finance but pay upfront. We returned a few days later to pick up car and Jovee helped with all the setups as we were very unfamiliar with this part. Car had been washed with all the stickers neatly removed. Overall we were very satisfied with the dealership and everyone we dealt with.”
