I recently purchased a koa wood ring to replace the ring I bought my husband in Kauai 5 years ago, which we sadly lost. I was so happy to find something similar to the original ring we bought on our honeymoon from this shop. I ordered it for our anniversary (my husband says he likes this one even better, and I agree!). And such a bonus to support the beautiful ecosystem of the Hawaiian islands with this purchase. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, but they made it so easy to exchange for the proper size and the new ring was delivered promptly. “This was my favorite store on the big island. I bought jewelry, cooking utensils, a potholder, a magnet, and some postcards. Everything was great quality and the lady behind the counter was super nice and patient, taking her time to show me the different jewelry pieces I asked about and being knowledgeable.”
“I visited in Jan 2026. I didn't realize Jill had so many bad reviews for her customer service. Whatever she was like in the past, this was not reflected at our visit. She showed nothing but kindness to us. I was there with my daughter and she patiently and sweetly encouraged us to try on as many of the toe thongs as we liked and helped us both pick out sets to our liking. She was very complimentary and it was only a $40 sale for 2 full sets of toe thongs. She was not ever once rude or pushy, even though we are both rather indecisive. I was checking back to see if I could order more online and saw these bad reviews and had to come to her defense as most reviews are old and so if she was rude in the past, she has changed. Additionally, I love the sets I bought. They are stylish and durable, which I was worried about. I only wish she would post them online for sale with the coconuts.”

“The gift shop at Kona Airport is small but really nice. There’s a good variety of Hawaiian souvenirs, snacks, and local products. Prices are quite high, but that’s normal for an airport. Still, it’s a pleasant little place to pick up something unique before your flight or as a memory from Hawaii.”

“We took the chocolate, coffee, and soap tour at kokoleka Lani farms and we were not expecting to walk away with so much knowledge of soap and essential oils. My daughter suffers from dermatitis and after a few days of using Kona natural soaps kukuwe and lavender oil it looks so much better. My husband started to use it for his face as well and same result. We will be ordering more!”
