“This place has been so well kept over the years. It's been about 15 years since I've been here and visited again for the first time last month. I love that there's a (very good ) little bookstore, a nice clothing store, and it's great to see that the pizza restaurant has survived all these years! The l&l BBQ here was actually the best one out of all the locations on Big Island and Maui. Huge portion sizes, good cuts of meat. Favorite shopping plaza in Kona for sure”

“Went to Akamai Art Supply store. Their knowledge of their products is superb. They present pros and cons of using materials based on customers proposed applications. I found their sales technique informative, light hearted and not pushy. They seemed happy to have my business.”

“The staff at ABC Store is warm, friendly, and welcoming. It was close to the time the store was closing and they didn't mind at all us being there and shopping still. They were happy to help us with a smile. An item must've been missed during the bagging of our stuff at checkout. We didn't realize until we returned home from our trip which wasn't in Hawaii. I called and let them know what happened. Mona was extremely helpful in assisting me. She said she would be happy to mail me the pair of earrings that got misplaced. I gave her my info, and she texted me on Monday when she was sending it out to share the tracking info. When the mail arrived, I realized she had surprised us with a box of chocolates along with the earrings. That was so sweet and kind. I texted her and thanked her. The level of service and appreciation of our patronage is unmatched. Shopping here is a true pleasure.”

“I love this store! Purchased 2 permanent bracelets. Had a small issue with one. I returned to the Kona location and Adrienne fixed it perfectly! Even found a cute dress while I was there. Thank you, Mary, Bonnie, and Adrienne for showing what real customer service looks like. We will look forward to our next visit! ❤️”

“Three months ago, I had a total left knee replacement. A few weeks after I started physical therapy with Amy at Kona rehab. Amy is the best in her field and very knowledgeable. I feel privileged to have her as my p.t.
I'm ready to go back to work this Saturday.
Thank you Kona Rehab and Amy for your guidance and patience.
Aloha,
Frankie Atkinson”

“The menu was large, prices very reasonable and the portions were large. Best for take out as the dining area was small and crowded. We ordered several plates and all were very good. One of the best values in Kona.”

“Definitely a place to visit if you want to occupy it some time. There are plenty of shopping experiences and if you're looking for that souvenir, you are bound to find it at the Kona inn shopping village. This is definitely a tourist trap, but there's plenty plenty of retail stores and restaurants to occupy your time. And if you are looking for that unique item, the likelihood that you'll find it here is pretty promising.”

“We had a scrumptious dinner at Thai Rin at 75-5799 Ali'i Drive #C1. Our friend swears by his order on repeat, the pineapple fried rice and added prawns. I had Tom Yum Rice Noodle Soup, with fall off the bone pork in an elegant spicy broth which, BTW was enough to take home for another two meals. And we were treated to this Kupaianaha (extraordinary) sunset with NCL's Pride of America sailing away.”

“What a cute little marketplace. I loved all variety of shops and food places. A must see and visit when in Kona.

Parking can be tricky. Try to park in the marketplace parking lot and all the stores validate parking with a scanned QR code.”
