“This is the cutest little t-shirt shop. Yes it's a tourist stop on the main drag through the waterfront, but they have some really fun shirts here and the owner is super friendly and takes his time to talk with you with genuine interest. Picked up a couple of fun shirts here. I've been in HI for the last 8 days and these are my first purchases I just had to have for myself.”
“Nice, clean, and bright store with very friendly staff. The store carried a great assortment of shirts with colorful graphic designs, many of which are plant based dyes and even dyed with volcanic ash! After all, we are on an island with active volcanoes! My hubby wanted a shirt that specifically had the Big Island graphic. He found one with a perfect fit that was called Blue Hawaii Dyed. This was specially dyed on the island of Hawaii. Very cool graphic and nice bright blue color that brings out his eyes.We chatted with the engaging sales lady about how we had purchased shirts from the store in Seaport Village San Diego. They are pricy but they're quality shirts and hubby deserves it!”
“My sisters were visiting and we had a blast here! The clerk was pretty awesome. He (117204?) was very helpful to all of us! And the shoes are comfy! Even the socks are comfy... ... And they had these cute hats. Not to mention the reusable bags are pretty neat!!!❤️?? Best place in the islands to buy shoes for sure!!!”
“Easy in Easy out, plenty parking 8/30 Right before closing called asked if my shoe was on stock 2 young men had the only pair left waiting for me at the counter, Angles in Famous Footware, Mahalo Nui Loa!”
“Sue is a one-woman, paddling expert. She determines what type of paddler one is, what one's needs are, and if appropriate, what one's team or club demands are. With this understanding of the person, she makes excellent recommendations to satisfy one's requirements. She will make sure one has exactly what one needs, which could mean she directs one to another source. She listens and assesses. Like a doctor, she focuses on one person at-a-time. Being a one-person operation, one needs to take some initiative and make your presence known at the middle of the store. Be patient; you will be rewarded with the excellent choices.Experienced paddlers know what an important source is here in Kona and why she has scores of long-time customers.”
“Great shop for body boards, surf boards, and swim suits. Owner welcomed us when we walked in and was super helpful! They had a lot of cute bikinis made in Hawaii with original designs. Looking forward to coming back soon!”
“If you are in Kona and in need of running shoes this is the BEST place to go. I was in this shop in 2019 and John gave me incredible advice on the shoes I needed. Came back here this week and once again he spent an incredible amount of time with us giving the BEST advice. Great variety and reasonably priced merchandise. And it’s so cool to bring “Run Aloha” items home for friends.”
