“This is a tiny Gas Station mini Mart with beverages, candy, bag ice, and various reasonably priced tabacoo products...And the service you receive is always super friendly and smiling no matter what time you stop by...”

“Always friendly, great selection of saki and imports and to top it off, fresh baked in-house bread, coffee and eats that's on the way to and from make this a definite add to your list.”

“Good food for really reasonable prices. I don't think you will find anything cheaper on Kauai! Tried their deluxe fish sandwich and it really hit the spot. The deluxe vs regular gives you tomato & onions (and they will grill the onions if you like) and it is only around $6! There our 2 good size pieces of fried fish in the sandwich. Also, got the small loco moco bowl that was about $5 which was also pretty tasty. The snack shop is in a stand just outside the market. Prices at the market were good as well. I bought some Hawaiian flavored salts for souvenirs. It was my first time visiting Old Koloa Town and it was so cute. Love the retro vibe and all the small shops and places to eat. Close to Poipu beach if you are in that area and want to grab food to take to the beach.”

“Just bought a bag of chips and a soda here. The lady behind the counter was nice. Nothing else to say about it really. It's good for chips and soda, but they had other stuff, too.”

“This place fulfills so many needs for travelers staying close by. We bought sunscreen products, medicine, beer/wine, snacks and even souvenirs on multiple trips there. The staff were the friendliest of all establishments we went to on the island. They were all very helpful as well. It would be nice if their hours were longer, but still a great local place when staying close by.”

“10/21/22 Looking for a souvenir for a friend & hubby is on the hunt for a hat, and a kick board for me. I'm looking for a fridge magnet. I like the idea of getting souvenirs that are either eaten or something useful, something that won't collect dust (well the magnet might) I prefer useful items so each time the person that I'm giving it to will remember who or where it's from all the while being handy. Plus it's small & not bulky to add weight in the luggage on the trip back. The fridge magnet is perfect, just stick it on the fridge, you see it each time to open the fridge & you put a note on it.Found my magnet & kick board at Whaler's General Store, no hat for hubby. Next stop, The Shops at Kukui Ula.”

“It is a gift shop in a hotel so of course the prices are a bit high, but honestly I was surprised that they were not too bad and they have a decent selection of items. Especially ready made sandwiches to avoid a few overpriced hotel lunches.”

“If you’re looking for omiyage from Kauai, make sure to stop at the Lawai 7-Eleven for some ono manju. They use the old Matsuura store recipe. Other flavors include apple, blueberry and coconut.”

“I get fuel at texaco with my company credit card for our delivery truck often. It is always so clean and well organized. Products are easy to find when I want a qick bite. Never had a problem except with Joanna...she is hard to understand and was actually rude to me and rolled her eye when I said I beg you pardon could you repeat...Aloha and Mahalo!”

“As I drove out west for the first time to move in the apartment I'd agreed to sight unseen I began to question my decisions. The road just kept going, I felt like I was driving to the end of the world. But amidst that I saw an oasis in the desert, the 24 hour 7 days a week wings at Waimea Shell. This place is a bargain and I've never heard so many people recommend gas station chicken in my life. But it 100% lives up to the hype. This place helps fill a huge void in the landscape because everything else closes at 6pm. 10/10 would return.”

“A bought star bursts here a while back, but they were covered in dust and were old. I guess maybe do not buy candy here, but the pharmacy itself is nice and the workers were nice as well.”
