4-1602 Kuhio Hwy, KapaʻaAbsolutely solid tacos. I had the fish tacos and the tuna tostadas—everything was delicious. The fish tasted super fresh, and the tacos came out hot, which made them even better. Crushed them.
The habanero sauce is spicy but really good if you’re into heat. Also super filling—definitely leaves you satisfied. Overall, a really solid choice for tacos on the island. Tons of flavor and worth checking out.

Garden Island Coffee
4-1604 Kuhio Hwy, KapaʻaFound a new favorite coffee shop. I finally got to try this spot. Whenever I wanted to stop and try it, it was closed. The entire menu looks delicious and I cannot wait to try each drink and determine which ones are my top favorites. For the first time I tried an Iced Ube Cream coffee with lavender. He put in the right amount of lavender so it didn't take over all the other flavors but gave it a nice subtle hint of floral. The prices are reasonable and my drink was made pretty quickly. I definitely will be coming back here for sure.

My husbands burrito was fresh and tasty, he enjoyed trying a large variety of hot sauces that they had. Friendly service as well. Extremely clean restaurant.

Our server was only on day 2 of working and she was a pro, would have never known. The live band played a variety of music and was an amazing addition to the already great food and atmosphere. We came back a week later, tried different rolls, delicious!!!
BUT, we came back yesterday at 21:00. We were immediately reminded that they were closing in 30 minutes.
There were 3 big groups still eating.
We ordered really fast and I confirmed with the waitress that they wouldn't start cleaning before the food arrived and we eat in peace.
Well.... The staff started to clean 10 minutes later. Turning chairs upside down on the tables next to us, sweeping the floor... AND our food started to arrive. I politely asked again if they can stop cleaning, plain disrespectful.
Other guests, at least 16 in the restaurant, were still eating.
Staff wouldn't stop cleaning.
And proceeded to wash the floors with Clorox...
The rest of our food arrived. But we couldn't stay because of unbearable scene and smell of the chemicals.
To the owner: Respect your returning customers.
We won't come back because you disrespected me and my kid. ??
